Horrific crime against civilians. For the seventh consecutive day, search and rescue operations continue in Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhia region, following Russia’s November 2 attack. As of now, the bodies of 55 people have been recovered from the rubble. The identities of 29 victims have been established. Another 45 people remain on the list of those missing. Some of them are believed to be among those whose bodies have already been recovered.

The cold is already setting in, and winter is just around the corner. Unfortunately, Kyiv and the Kyiv region are once again experiencing prolonged power outages, as well as disruptions to water and heating services. Elderly people stuck in cold apartments, mothers with small children who can’t even heat up food, families for whom a simple cup of hot tea is a true lifeline! Last winter, our “Mitsvatanks”—mobile Centers of Resilience—traveled throughout Kyiv and the region, helping people where the situation was most dire. We worked practically nonstop. Our vehicles became small islands of warmth amid the darkness and cold. People could warm up, charge their phones, drink hot tea, eat, heat up food, and simply feel that they weren’t left alone to face their hardships. And today, we’re once again preparing our “Mitsvatanks” for a harsh winter. We’re finishing up preparations for two vehicles. But the third one, which was under immense strain last winter, has suffered a serious breakdown and requires costly repairs. And right now, we really need your help. After all, each of these vehicles gives us the opportunity to help people in different areas at the same time—to reach places where there’s no electricity, heat, or water. We cannot afford to leave one of our mobile Centers of Resilience out of service this winter. That is why I am personally appealing to everyone who is able to help—to repair the third “Mitzvatank” and return it to serving people! Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to the day when this vehicle will once again take to the streets of Kyiv and the surrounding region to provide people with warmth, hot meals, and hope. Here are the donation details: send.monobank.ua/jar/7J7cgmn… paypal.com/donate/?hosted_bu… Zelle: [email protected] In Jewish tradition, there is a great commandment—pikuach nefesh, the saving of human life. And I believe that helping a person who finds themselves in the cold and darkness is not just charity. It is our human and spiritual duty May there be more light in Ukraine this winter—even when there is none in the power grid. After all, the most important light is the light of human hearts!

Turning support for Ukraine into a partisan issue, rather than seeing it as a moral imperative that serves American interests, is one of the main goals of Russian propaganda. Ukraine has always strived to work with its allies, regardless of which party is currently in power.

We should not forget Lisa Nandy called for The British Army to be replaced with a “gender balanced and ethnically diverse” peace force. In her defence, Lisa Nandy is incredibly stupid.
On Remembrance Sunday Lisa Nandy has claimed that no one in Britain has had to fight a war since WW2. What about the 7,193 British soldiers who have sacrificed their lives in conflicts ranging from the Korean War to Afghanistan? While she erases their service, the country will never forget their bravery. Remembrance Sunday is a sacred day, not to be cynically used by Labour to justify closer ties to the EU. Whatever the merits of their argument - and I believe reopening the Brexit wars is both a colossal waste of energy and a strategic disaster when national sovereignty is more important than ever - this is not the day for it. It’s disappointing that Nandy and Andy Burnham, who presumably agreed to this, have failed so badly to meet the moment.

One of the reasons why russia is destroying churches is that they are being used as humanitarian hubs where clothes & food are distributed to civilians. An orthodox church in Kherson region was targeted & destroyed by a russian drone (photo). No strategic/military value.
Filthy russia destroyed the Holy Elizabeth Convent in Komyshuvakha😡! I believe this👇is from the same day when the russian terrorists attacked a civilian shelter and humanitarian aid distribution point that killed 55 people (with over 30 others still trapped under the rubble)😞!

Medvedev is mocking Ukrainians over the prospect of outdoor toilets in Kyiv after Russia’s attacks on our energy infrastructure. Meanwhile, according to Russia’s own official statistics, 13.7% of Russian households still rely on cesspits, 3% have no sewage system at all, and 7.8% use outdoor or shared toilets. Russia bombs our infrastructure, then laughs at the consequences. All while millions of Russians still live with the very problems Medvedev finds so funny.

The police in russia have been "recruiters" for the army for a while already. They get bonuses for getting people to sign papers and use any tactic they want, usually violent. I'm just surprised to see this extended to Moscow. They're getting desperate.
⚡️ Moscow police detain over 200 people, reportedly forcing some to sign military contracts. Detainees told the Russian Telegram channel “Ostorozhno, Novosti” that those over the age of 18 were “persistently” urged to sign a contract with Russia’s Defense Ministry. kyivindependent.com/moscow-p…

“Europe’s nuclear safety cannot remain at the mercy of the country that deliberately put it at risk. The only sustainable solution is the return of the Zaporizhzhia NPP to its rightful owner and operator, Ukraine.” — Andrii Sybiha
Tonight, for the 16th time this year alone, Europe’s largest nuclear power plant has lost all external power. Once again, nuclear safety at the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP depends on emergency diesel generators, with fuel reserves sufficient for only around two weeks of limited operation. The sheer recklessness of this situation is staggering. The same country that illegally occupies the plant continues to devastate Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, putting European nuclear safety at serious risk. Russia has no right to hold an entire continent hostage to the consequences of its occupation. Moscow has turned nuclear safety into another instrument of blackmail, demonstrating a cynical disregard for the risks its actions pose. The Kremlin cannot pretend that the consequences of its actions will somehow remain confined to Ukraine. We appreciate the continued efforts of @iaeaorg Director General @rafaelmgrossi and his team to safeguard nuclear safety at the plant. Russia has been and remains the only source of safety risks and power supply problems. This is the Kremlin’s cynicism at its most dangerous: creating nuclear risks while obstructing efforts to address them. The international response must finally match the scale of the danger. Sanctions against Rosatom are long overdue. A corporation directly involved in the illegal occupation of a nuclear power plant cannot continue enjoying business as usual internationally. Europe’s nuclear safety cannot remain at the mercy of the country that deliberately put it at risk. The only sustainable solution is the return of the Zaporizhzhia NPP to its rightful owner and operator, Ukraine.

To everyone who says Ukraine should just compromise: Georgia signed a ceasefire with Russia in 2008. Russian troops still occupy about 20% of its territory. A compromise with Moscow doesn't end the war. It's the intermission.

So @lisanandy announces a clearly political Brexit related policy in a press release about Remembrance Sunday If that’s not crass and vulgar enough… When other politicians and those in the armed forces criticise her, she accuses *them* of ‘politicising’ Remembrance Sunday, and piously claims we shouldn’t discuss politics on such an important day Have I described this little gas lighting gem of hypocrisy correctly?

Today, on Remembrance Sunday, we honour all those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of freedom and peace. Across the United Kingdom, we remember those who lost their lives in the two World Wars and in conflicts since. This tradition of remembrance dates back to the Armistice of 11 November 1918, which brought the fighting of the First World War to an end. For Ukraine, remembrance is not only about the past. Every day, our brave men and women continue to make the ultimate sacrifice in defence of our freedom. Today, we also pay special tribute to the courageous British volunteers who have stood shoulder to shoulder with Ukrainian defenders, including those who have laid down their lives so that the free world may remain free, just as generations of Britons did during the two World Wars. Their courage and sacrifice will forever be remembered in Ukraine’s history and stand as an enduring bond that strengthens the strategic partnership between our two nations. We remember. We honour. We will never forget. Lest We Forget.
