Unsurprising that nuance is dead but the website that scrapped ao3 and is trying to charge $ for fanworks is SO VASTLY DIFFERENT than fans sharing epubs and PDFs with other fans.
Acting like these are equivalent is a misrepresentation and actually not helpful.

copyright holders tend not to enforce their copyright because it’s the easiest way to kill a fandom which ultimately kills their revenue and they know it. it’s just that sometimes when an entity is so large attacking the fandom doesn’t attack their profit (like disney).

This app thrives on negativity and if you JUST look at Persona Twitter, you'd think these games are complete dog shit. If anything because of these remakes and making the games more accessible to modern platforms, it's getting those fans more interested in new games.

Big disagree. Contrary to the echo chamber of Twitter, Persona 3 Reload, Metaphor Refantazio, and SMT V Vengeance have done fantastic numbers and sold millions of copies. It's easy to say this stuff when you're on an app that is the breeding ground for negativity.
