"That's just how life is" is one of the most dangerous lies ever told. Nothing about how we live was handed down by the universe. It was designed by people. And people can redesign it. We can build it better, and we will. We already are doing it.

Optimus is coming
Q3 Shareholder Update → ir.tesla.com Highlights – FSD Supervised attach rate grew to over 75% of new vehicle deliveries in NA – Unveiled the next-gen Roadster – Record deliveries in Canada, Australia, Japan & Taiwan – Tesla Semi now in volume production. Top variant can go up to 500 miles at a full 82,000 lbs while achieving efficiency of 1.7 kWh/mile – about a third of the energy a comparable diesel truck burns for the same load – Ended the quarter with the largest backlog for our passenger vehicles in 4 years! FSD Supervised – 4 new approvals since Q2 (Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Slovakia) – FSD is now live in nine EU countries & used by over 100,000 customers logging more than 160 million kilometers since initial approval Robotaxi – Deployed Cybercab into our Austin fleet – Hit nearly 2 million cumulative unsupervised miles, 8x growth in the quarter – Austin service now runs 6 am to midnight, with wait times continuing to come down as we add cars & improve the orchestration algorithms – Added Grok to Cybercab with Grok Bot & Connectors, letting you interface with your inbox, calendar, files, chats and tasks, all by voice. Transport, office & living room in one Robotics – Started production of @Tesla_Optimus on our high-volume lines in Fremont. These are the first production-quality bots we've built, proving that the current manufacturing process for Optimus is suitable for a commercial product SI Compute – On track for 400 MW of training compute by year end, feeding both vehicle & humanoid autonomy – Austin Fab construction continues, equipment commissioning planned for 2027 Battery – Battery supply is still the limiter on how fast we ramp vehicles globally, so we're expanding on every front: pack capacity in Berlin, cathode and lithium refining in Texas, LFP cells in Nevada – Shipped the first Megapacks built entirely with our own LFP cells – Increasing 4680 output to support ramp of Cybercab, Semi & Model Y Energy – Megafactory Texas is up & running, with Megapack 3 production started – Highest-ever order rate & backlog for energy storage Grid constraints & power availability are making Megapack the answer for SI infrastructure demand: it excels at supplying large data center loads, smooths out demand spikes, helps new projects meet grid connection rules & makes the grid itself more stable All with less local fossil fuel generation Supporting Infrastructure – Added 2,100+ net new Supercharger stalls, up 14% year over year

I think someone who lives to 300 could still look between the ages of 25 to 35. @drgoodyear and I wrote about how to keep people younger in our new book. The DNA you had as a baby is still in your cells. Age reversal therapy switches some of those younger genes back on. The cell goes backward without losing what kind of cell it is. Reading those earlier copies of your DNA makes you a younger person. Switching genes back on works well in mice. People past a certain age also need their immune system adjusted, because the immune system fights to protect older cells. Once it’s adjusted, the immune system does the repairs. Anyone who has made it to 80 should be able to reverse their age safely, at up to about five years for every year of treatment. In the future, medications will hold people at the age they choose. I think most people will stay between 25 and 35. If you can keep a person’s body between 25 and 35, their risk of dying is very low. When we make a patient’s body and immune system younger, they either resist cancer or fight it off.
I think people could live 300 years or more. David Sinclair has already reversed the age of mice with reprogramming. That work has since moved to dogs and primates. In our own work we're seeing about three to five years of age reversal for every year of treatment. Supplements like alpha-ketoglutarate, TMG and PQQ slow the aging process. Spermidine and fisetin help kill off older cells. Off-label drugs like tranylcypromine, valproic acid and sodium butyrate switch younger genes back on. Furthermore, I see aging and cancer as very similar diseases. Cancer cells carry many of the same receptors as old cells. The drugs that extend life expectancy also tend to fight cancer. As drugs and protocols that support longevity become more widely available, I believe people who reverse their age will be less likely to get cancer.

By the end of this year, superintelligence and general intelligence will begin replacing jobs. By the end of 2028, SI and robots will outperform humans at everything. By the end of 2030, SI and robots will have replaced all jobs.

🧠 *This Simple Breathing Technique May Help Calm Your Mind in Just One Minute. What if one of the simplest ways to manage stress was already with you all along? Your breath may hold a surprising secret. Researchers have studied a technique called **cyclic sighing**, which involves taking two inhales through your nose—the second shorter than the first—followed by one long, slow exhale through your mouth. *Why might it work?*Slow, controlled breathing can influence your body's stress response and help you feel more relaxed. In a 2023 study, researchers at Stanford University found that people who practiced structured breathing exercises for five minutes daily reported improvements in mood, with cyclic sighing showing particularly promising results. Try it gently:** Breathe in through your nose, take a second, smaller inhale, then slowly breathe out through your mouth. Repeat comfortably for a few rounds without forcing your breath. The important detail? Although some people may feel calmer quickly, the technique does not guarantee instant relief or replace professional care for ongoing anxiety. Sometimes, a small change in the way you breathe can make a meaningful difference in how you feel. *Source: Balban, M. Y., Neri, E., Kogon, M. M., Weed, L., Nourber, S., Jo, B., Holl, G., Zeitzer, J. M., Spiegel, D., & Huberman, A. D. (2023). Brief structured respiration practices enhance mood and reduce physiological arousal. *Cell Reports Medicine, 4*(1), 100895.

This study does not show that more cannabis makes your brain bigger or your thinking better. If that were true, the heaviest users should consistently have the biggest hippocampus and the best cognitive scores. Yet, they didn’t. Most of the differences were between non-users and people who had used cannabis 1-100 times in their life. The >100-use group was not consistently better. And the effect itself was tiny. Cannabis-use group was associated with only about 0.1% of the differences in brain volume and 0.7% of the differences in cognitive scores.
Data on 35,000+ adults: the more cannabis you’ve used in life, the bigger your hippocampus and the better your brain works after 40! People who had ever used cannabis tended to have larger brain volume in key areas that are full of natural cannabis-like receptors (especially the hippocampus, amygdala, caudate, and putamen – these areas are important for memory, emotions, learning, and movement). The more cannabis someone had used in their lifetime, the larger these brain areas were and the better they performed on tests of learning, processing speed, and short-term memory. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4137…
