Dishonest John Swinney now says he and his party are for new oil and gas fields. He also criticises Labour on their policy to ban North Sea drilling. 🙄
This after spending years criticising the UK government and having a policy of moving away from oil and gas and demanding no more new drilling.
Whatever the UK government do he will say the opposite he’s got no credibility whatsoever. He and his party are just a protest party against WM Scotland deserves better than that. Showing yet again Devolution has failed the Scottish people.
Just for clarity I also criticise Labour on their new policy. But the difference is I’ve always said we should drill more oil and gas for energy security.

2. You can't both spend money and save it simultaneously.
3. Scotland gets more spending than it earns in tax EVERY year. This includes oil revenues.

A massive chunk of Scottish wealth was built directly on the back of Caribbean plantations. If the UK starts handing over “trillions or billions of pounds”, an independent Scotland is going to be handed a colossal, per-capita share of that reparations bill.
