Two strimmed Lizard Orchids that were growing near Sawston, Cambridgeshire. This is a plant with legal protection under Schedule 8 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. This is despite me previously informing @CambsCC that the orchids were at this location. @onthevergecambs

Please bear with us this morning. The shop was broken into in the early hours and we will be late opening as we’ve had forensics round. We are all okay, though a little shaken! The burglars left with quite a lot of money but thankfully left most of the shop untouched.

Watching the England football match. Is it just me who thinks it awful that commentators & pundits praise players for cheating? Just heard one say it was ‘really good play’ from an England player because he ‘waited for the contact’ and then ‘went down’ to get a free kick. No wonder it’s so difficult to get kids to play fairly at grassroots level when this is the example on TV. @FA @Channel4
