BREAKING: Trump may have accidentally chosen the wrong Dana White for his White House Press Secretary offer.
There is a woman named "Dana White" who is the former Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, more commonly known as the Pentagon's chief spokesperson, from April 2017 to the end of 2018.
She briefed the press from the Pentagon podium, and served as the principal media adviser and communications lead for the Secretary of Defense. She also was a Fox News publicist and worked at the conservative Heritage Foundation. She even started her career as a press secretary for the House Republican Conference.
Someone at the White House likely recommended her to Trump and he thought they meant UFC CEO Dana White, then went ahead and announced it on Truth Social thinking it's his UFC friend, and nobody around him was willing to correct him.
Furthermore, Trump is actively searching for a new press secretary after Karoline Leavitt left and Katie Zacharia lasted five days, so names are being pitched to him right now.
Per CNN, UFC's Dana White has declined the offer, and one aide now claims Trump was "joking."

🇫🇷 French presidential candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon pledged Saturday that, if elected, French navy ships would escort citizen flotillas trying to break Israel's blockade of Gaza “if necessary."
"We will act head-on to help the Palestinians, against both the genocide in Gaza and the gradual annexation of the West Bank," Mélenchon, the leader of the left-wing party La France Insoumise, said at a rally at Le Bourget, near Paris, where he presented his program for the 2027 election.
He said France would not accept Israel's "gradual annexation" of the West Bank, southern Lebanon or the Golan Heights.

There is an ocean of difference between people saying in a survey that they are unsatisfied with the status quo and actually supporting a real life foreign military invasion to overthrow their own government.
If there were any meaningful support for such a thing then the Mossad-instigated "protests" would have succeeded in kicking off a civil war. Instead, a few thousand max were killed and the feeble Western op disposed of.

Today, Iran’s Supreme Leader called any hope in compromise "ingratitude" toward Iran's victories and the blood of its martyrs, because now every day, not just Nov. 4, is a day of struggle against the Great Satan.
He says even the slightest lean toward surrender would embolden the US to demand more and start new wars, in what appears to be a message aimed at civilians and officials inside Iran who favor concessions to reach a deal.
He said the aim is "absolute deterrence," which comes only from an ever-stronger Iran. America's power, both military and its international standing, is in "irreversible" decline, Khamenei claimed, and that its collapse is speeding up.
He also says Washington's miscalculations have landed as heavy costs on the American people and on its client governments.

🇮🇷 Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei warned that anyone hoping a "partisan" shift in Washington or concessions could end US hostility toward Iran is "gravely mistaken."
His message came a day after Democrats won both chambers of Congress and marked Nov. 4, Iran's National Day of Struggle Against Global Arrogance and the anniversary of the 1979 US Embassy takeover.
Khamenei listed seven decades of US aggression, from the 1953 coup to the "second and third imposed wars." He counted his father and predecessor, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, among those killed in the struggle.
He said the Strait of Hormuz has exposed "the myth of America's invincibility." Iran's control of the strait and its destruction of US bases in the region, he said, were a response to US aggression and an "initial jihad" against arrogance that will take on "much wider dimensions" if attacks are repeated.
Alongside the Resistance Front "from Palestine and Lebanon to Iraq and Yemen," he called it a dawn for a "new world order."
Washington's goal, he said, is Iran's "unconditional surrender." The only path to "absolute deterrence" is an "ever-stronger Iran," built on national unity and officials who serve the people.
