George Mason was actually in the conversation for an at-large bid with a 21-3 mark a couple weeks ago. That talk has since ceased. The Patriots have now, in their last three contests, lost to to Richmond by 12, George Washington by 19, and (last night) Dayton by 15. Those three games were rated by our site as George Mason's three worst performances of the entire season.
The Patriots fell another 16 spots to #125 in our performance rankings following last night's defeat. It is George Mason's worst ranking at Haslametrics.com this season and their lowest since the first week of the 2023-24 season.
I just can't handle this type of playing. What would you even call this other than willing yourself to victory over and over and over again.

The next A10 Commissioner has to find a way to get its best teams more Quad 1 opportunities.
The caliber of basketball at the top of this league — VCU, SLU, Mason, & UD — is as good as or better than most MM leagues with the exception of the WCC, but has been boxed out.
At this point, you could tell me that Tony's halftime speeches are just having the team touch the Monstars basketball to give them the powers of 90s NBA stars and I'd believe you.
Why are we like this? We could literally be any way but we choose to be the world's worst first half team and the world's best second half team.
I get that sports folks are trying to just take all my money away but can we just pick one of the streamers and have all of our basketball there. I would pay more to not have to figure out which thing I need to log into. Until then, listening to this one like it is the 1920s.
