Why is David Byers Times article so biaised? Yes some balance but errors & omissions including the #LoanCharge is a fine for ppl who didnt declare use of DR schemes and no mention of retrospective new law. Is Times editorial against us or just him?

Great turnout at Parliament today. Speeches from our supportive MP’s ed davey, david davis. Ed as treasury spokesman for lib dems says he knows what their policy is - vote lib dems at upcoming GE!

6 months after submitting all my loan data and 2 weeks after the nth deadline passed, Ive declined to settle. Now the all seeing wizards at HMRC send me this letter telling me they suspect I may have used DR. And so, like a beached whale, I wept.

Nothing stopping that other than actually getting it overturned. That will need a subsequent collective legal action - for which I and many others are setting something aside (somewhere).

@Jesse_Norman demonstrates beliefs consistent with overturning #LoanCharge. (Compassionate Con, Adam Smith etc) He’s made principled unpopular hard choices before. Will he? Then can he turn-round powerful HMRC (do not mistake how daunting a challenge even in his position)
