A rigorous, public investigation is expected of the NHS which whilst delivering incredible value has caused deaths, mutilations and serious mental anguish. Attempting to put these events on a par demeans both.

Why is it ironic than he began as a socialist? Fascism is just a form of socialism. Less problematic (if counting tens of millions of deaths) than communism, marxism, national socialists etc.

You think its wild because you don't know that Fascism is rooted in trade unionism and socialism. Communists and Marxists have intentionally (and unintentionally) done and continue to do far more harm to people than Fascists ever imagined.

Destroyed financially by your governments complex, insidious tax laws? Life isn't fair, you may have to start again. And again. Take pride in your fight - you & your family deserve better. Enjoy it - it might even work!

Well there is still time before lockdown and brexit to get out and take up residence in any of the EU countries. Many countries have only light lockdown rules. Many are easier places to make a fresh start.

Seems like he’s just trying to hold people accountable. If people dont own their mistakes, its a deterrent to many.

Its a mystery. Just what everyone needed. I feel for those apparently left high and dry.
Jon lionheart tweeted excerpt on 10/10/2020. Article in Times today (David Byers) “The deadline to settle loan charge claims with HMRC was September 30, but many of Manley’s clients say they cannot get hold of him and the taxman has NOT received their forms."

As you say - who knows? His case is not helped by mixing impassioned tweets, rambling asides (music, football etc), frequent absences, and change of nom de plumes. A Don Quixote for the loan charge brigade.
Yes martin i thought the same. Intense, possibly a bit fragile. I also thought paranoid until i saw the byers article condemning him. I cant say i know enough about it. More drama, as though it were needed.

Good point. For the hardest hit, without the cash, I dont see any sound ‘procedural’ way out (such as advisors might promise). The maze of conflicting bureaucracy is not only impenetrable but too slow. I wont waste 5 more years on it. There are other ways to live a life.

Well this particular line through the truth is part of an hmrc story designed to push the LC unwashed under water. I dont know manleys whereabouts or status - what i think i saw was someone trying to make amends crushed by a relentless machine. Celebrate that if you want.

Its not the times, its byers, and its personal. Beggars belief with all this damage to so many people that byers uses his platform to bury a grudge. A tedious integrity vacuum. Not a care in the world, not an ounce of understanding. I do hope to meet him.

byers implies scheme sellers guilty for [sic] pushing loan schemes on the [sic] vulnerable. Maybe he’ll call for them to take the rap? No, he wont. byers is a manipulative, opportunistic shit - just schadenfreuding Manley. Phil may have failed, he was trying to make amends.

I had a similar issue. Nothing sent to me but apparently all open. Not only is the whole thing BS its also been badly administered - and guess who the problem lands with? Yes not the incompetent administrators.

Schrödinger was a taxman. When you open the LC box do you see a loan or remuneration? HMRC see both. I settled on LC. I will not pay IHT. Enough.
