In the UK if you punch a female police officer in public, surrounded by witnesses and captured on CCTV you will be released on bail
If you pop an empty boat in the English Channel you will be denied bail and kept in prison for 5 months without trial

Spoiled, vile, mannerless, badly behaved children.
Someone make an alternative ending where the solicitor reads her will to those kids in 20 years time and she's donated their inheritance to a dog rescue centre.

This is the part of a Saturn V launch most people skip the seconds before it moves.
The five engines don't all light at once. The center one starts first, then the outer ones follow in opposing pairs about 300 milliseconds apart, so the rocket isn't slammed with all that thrust in a single jolt. It stays clamped to the pad while the computers check that every engine is making full power. Only then do the hold-down arms let go.
Even the release is gentle. As it starts to rise, tapered pins get dragged through dies on the rocket, and that holds it back for a fraction of a second.
What gets me is how long it sits there burning. Roughly seven seconds of engine run time go by before it moves at all.

This man knows his words could likely be heard by the family of #HenryNowak, people who know from bitter first hand experience all about #TwoTierPolice and how thier automatic presumption of guilt because Of Henrys ethnicity likely contributed to his death.
Yet here he is calling people who raise the subject "thick"
For me they don't come much lower than #JamesObrien #LBC

🚨Victoria Lodge from Bournemouth drove a carving knife through her rescued dog’s body, perforated its lung, then cleaned the blood while it died on the floor.
Court response: two-year community order and a ban.
Judge admitted it would be “egregious cruelty” without the PTSD label.
Pathetic. She should be in prison right now.

The government’s grandest plane, an A321 jet, took off from Stansted at 6.05 a.m. this morning. Burnham wasn't on it. It flew 34 minutes to Manchester to collect the PM, then set off for the Commonwealth summit in Antigua. Guido estimates the detour cost around £20,000 of taxpayer cash. Avanti not good enough for him?
Flight tracking data shows the jet landed in Manchester at 6.39 a.m. and left again at 8.06 a.m., heading for a refuelling stop in Newfoundland before the Caribbean. The government eventually publishes what every trip on the plane costs. Starmer’s same-day trip to Paris on in April came to £39,756 at roughly £20,000 a leg. Stansted to Manchester is shorter than Paris, but every additional leg brings its own landing and handling fees. About £18,000-20,000’s worth according to Guido’s fag packet maths…
The whole jaunt, there and back, comes to about 21 hours of flying. Based on Starmer’s £121,239 trip to Yerevan in May and Yvette Cooper’s £148,700 trip to Washington in December, long-haul flying on the plane costs between £9,500 and £12,400 an hour. That puts Burnham's full trip at about £250,000.
Burnham took the same government jet from Glasgow to Manchester in July to open No10 North, despite a choice of trains. When Liz Truss used the same plane to fly to Australia, @AngelaRayner called it a “ridiculous waste of half a million pounds on a private jet trip”. Thoughts on this one, Ange?

Rare to see forward POV from that era. Interestingly, Mig25 had notoriously terrible forward visibility. That massive nose section made low-alt tracking like this a nightmare.
