Yup. Right outside my home, the pavement has become overgrown with folliage so people have to walk on the grass, making it wear down. Yet our council tax continues to rise.

Britain is decaying. Walk down any ordinary high street and you’re looking at a country where local and national governments have stopped caring about civic pride - despite financially punishing local businesses with numerous tax increases.
Boarded-up shops with peeling paint and graffiti tags. Vape shops everywhere. Boarded windows. Road signs covered in dirt. Weeds in the pavements. Road drains blocked.
The litter is everywhere and it is getting worse. Keep Britain Tidy found only about one in ten places completely clear of rubbish. In the poorest areas it is three times worse.
The roads are a national embarrassment. Roadworks that continue in certain places for 2 years. Potholes that destroy cars while local councils glibly talk about community strategies.
This is what managed decline looks like when nobody in charge is willing to enforce basic civic standards, spend our taxes wisely or admit that Britain is decaying. Dirty streets, decaying towns and a quiet dismal acceptance that this is just how Britain is now. It isn’t acceptable. It was allowed to happen.

Shabana Mahmood has been humiliated.
She talked the talk on migration but under pressure from Labour minsters, she’s backed down.
Andy Burnham didn’t support her.
Her u-turn will let hundreds of thousands of migrants get Indefinite Leave to Remain.
She knows this policy is a disaster. That’s why she wanted a tougher one.
When I was faced with the same problem — as Rishi Sunak, under pressure from Tory wets failed to stop the boats — I resigned.
Because in the end, politics isn’t about having a job, it’s about doing one.
Instead Andy Burnham and Shabana Mahmood have set us on a path to a permanently changed country.
It’s a mistake we will rue for generations to come.
Unless Reform UK are elected and reverse it.

Unbelievable that someone who is a Treasury Minister can be so naive and spiteful. I would be very surprised if she had ever worried about….making a profit….paying her staff….cold calling to find new business…..had sleepless nights worrying about money…..faced increasing taxes everywhere. I’m 76 and still run a small business despite everything the British government has done for years. It breaks my heart to see how they spend the tax and NI we send HMRC every month…..the sooner this lot is voted out….the better. Just to be clear….I AM AN EMPLOYER AND A WORKING PERSON.

Idiots still harping on re the Brexit bus when the figure was easily passed and much more for our NHS. However our suicidal approach to illegals means the NHS are under more pressure than ever. Close the borders to illegals and deport. They are also spoiling attitudes to our many wonderful legal immigrants that work hard. Illegals are not escaping war zones they are escaping France and God knows how many other safe countries. This is what happens when the entire government consists of economically clueless local politicians who spent their entire life in party, charity, union and local government jobs - in these jobs there are no consequences for bad decisions and no accountability- their career progresses based on party politics and ideology rather than competence. There is only one outcome for Britain as long as this persists: impoverishment and irrelevance.

I cannot believe the BBC is wheeling out Nicola Sturgeon as a political commentator.
I know they're struggling financially, with millions refusing to pay the TV licence, but this really is scraping the barrel.
Sturgeon's political career ended in disgrace, and after decades campaigning for Scottish independence, she packed her bags and moved to London.
Now she's lecturing us on British politics from the BBC sofa.
You couldn't make it up.
