All the fud while these guys were working hard to improve the protocol. They are addressing the pool issue and that's all that matters. $Index is the leader in their respective field.
What we’ve been working on
Since our last update on October 8th, we’ve been focused on improving the infrastructure behind robinhood:0x56910d4409f3a0c78c64dd8d0545ff0705389870.
Distributions were paused from October 18th to the 29th while the system was rebuilt. Protocol fees continued to accrue throughout that period and were deployed into stocks once the new setup went live.
Since October 29th, three distribution cycles have completed, sending roughly $23,600 in stocks to 4,163 wallets.
The upgraded setup includes:
• Fixed 36-hour cycles for a consistent distribution schedule.
• Former holders made whole, with around $3,680 in banked stocks distributed to 5,366 addresses that had fallen below the 10,000 robinhood:0x56910d4409f3a0c78c64dd8d0545ff0705389870 threshold.
• Built-in price protection, with stock purchases and ETH → USDG conversions limited to within 1.5% of trusted prices.
The result is a more predictable, secure and scalable distribution system.
Closing the volume gap
A significant portion of robinhood:0x56910d4409f3a0c78c64dd8d0545ff0705389870 trading volume currently routes through pools that do not use the official fee hook, meaning those trades do not contribute to the 3% fee funding stock distributions.
We have already addressed one side of this issue.
Pools holding robinhood:0x56910d4409f3a0c78c64dd8d0545ff0705389870 were previously able to appear as holders and receive distributions. Those pools are now excluded, receive $0, and new pools are checked before every cycle.
The remaining fee-bypass issue requires a deeper change and is already in development. We’ll have more to share on the full approach soon.
The objective is simple: robinhood:0x56910d4409f3a0c78c64dd8d0545ff0705389870 trading activity should contribute to the protocol economics it was designed to support.
Expanding the Index ecosystem
A large part of our recent product work has also gone into Blend.
Blend introduces permissionless onchain Baskets backed by tokenized assets. Each Basket represents defined quantities of its underlying assets in a single share and can be bought, sold, redeemed and integrated into other applications.
For robinhood:0x56910d4409f3a0c78c64dd8d0545ff0705389870, Blend adds another source of protocol activity and revenue, expanding the ways onchain activity can ultimately flow back into stocks.
What comes next
The distribution infrastructure is stronger, the fee-routing issue is being addressed, and Blend is expanding the ways tokenized assets can be used across the Robinhood ecosystem.
Our focus remains the same: build useful infrastructure around onchain stocks and return more of the value generated by that infrastructure back into the Index ecosystem.
Stocks for everyone.

I warned you all about this.
They will be lying. The actual goal of the big AI providers will be to outlaw open-source and open-weight AI in order to create a regulatory moat around their business, and have some hope of earning out their astronomical capital expenditures.
The claims will be about safety and equity, the reality will be a money and power grab. Brace for the bullshit avalanche that's coming.
🚨BREAKING: OpenAI is preparing a policy and PR blitz immediately after Tuesday’s midterm elections, Axios reports. As public backlash against data centers grows, it wants to rebrand them as “AI compute campuses” and push Congress for mandatory “speed limits” on the most powerful AI systems. It has been stockpiling proposals since August.
OpenAI is also preparing for the possibility of Democrats taking the House and wants to shape the debate ahead of the 2028 presidential race. Its chief global affairs officer Chris Lehane told Axios: “AI is going to be the issue in 2028.”

Here is why it genuinely is not possible, and this is a different problem from hacking an exchange.
Binance is a company. Companies have employees, computers, logins, passwords, internal systems. Lazarus got in by tricking or infiltrating people who worked there. Humans make mistakes. Humans can be fooled, bribed, or hired under a fake identity. That is their whole playbook.
Satoshi's wallet has no company behind it. No employees. No customer support. No login page. No password to steal. It is just math. To move that Bitcoin, you need one specific secret key, a long random code, and there is no copy of it anywhere, no person holding it that can be tricked into handing it over.
Trying to guess or crack that key by brute force would take longer than the universe has existed, even with the biggest computers on earth. It's not a lock that's hard to pick. It's a lock where the key simply isn't anywhere that can be reached.
So it’s not like the group is bad at their job. They stole billions two days ago. It's just that hacking a company and breaking unbreakable math are two completely different games.
and only one of them is actually possible.

Greetings from an American $index holder. Stop fudding for clicks 🚮
Non upgradeable/legacy tokens can still declare the same venue policy data with canonical pools + preferred/enforced mode off chain inside a Uniswap style token list’s extensions field.
Bad news for $INDEX holders. Payouts can't be fixed
URC-5 is live but INDEX is non-upgradeable
Deployed before the standard so it can't add the interface
From the URC-5 docs:
> Non-upgradeable tokens can't add the interface
> Token list extension can carry the data offchain until next version
Real options:
> Deploy a new token that supports URC-5
> Migrate holders to a new one
Until then holders will miss 95% of the fees and get $4 on average lol
@TheIndexFi, you doing a V2 or sticking with the offchain list?

Replying to @relativeread
Because a lot of people are larping for engagement content on X and never actually build a functional final product or game.
Replying to @higgsfield_ai
@higgsfield_ai sent us a cease and desist last night, asking us to shut down our Open Source Higgsfield challenge.
Our read on why they sent it. When the apps people pay for can be rebuilt in the open in two weeks, that’s an uncomfortable thing for a closed platform to watch.
So here’s us reiterating our promise to every builder in the challenge and community, and we’re keeping it:
• The challenge stays open
• Final submissions close tomorrow, Oct 30
• Winners are announced Nov 6, with prizes paid as promised
You showed up for each other. We’re showing up for you.
If we win, we all win!
Comfy out 🫡
Last night, @higgsfield sent @ComfyUI a cease and desist (attached)
They want the Open Source Higgsfield challenge taken down within 48 hours.
Their argument is that our use of the Higgsfield name and that using their CEO's likeness is an infringement violation (man, the irony). Claiming that it makes the event look like Higgsfield is associated with it.
This couldn't be farther from the truth, which is that Higgsfield made a promise to open source its product and never did.
For the past two weeks, builders have been recreating popular closed apps as open workflows anyone can run.
So we asked our community to deliver where Higgsfield failed: apps in the open, built by the community, for the community. We've made it clear that the challenge is organized by ComfyUI and not affiliated with or endorsed by Higgsfield.
When we started Comfy, we made the community a promise. Our product stays open, free, and yours. We’ve kept it every day since, and one letter isn’t going to change that.
The challenge stays up. Comfy and open source will win!

😂😂😂😂
The irony is too rich.
Funny how anyone new to AI thinks Higgsfield is great, and anyone seriously in the field a while absolutely despises them and knows they are just some shitty wrapper company who has wasted money on gaming the system and scamming users.
KEEP GOING Yoland and the whole Comfy community!
Let’s bury this shit stain of a company once and for all!

$INDEX tied to @vladtenev. Robinhood's pet project?
July 14: Vlad talks stocks + tokenization. @TheIndexFi replies
> THE INDEX FINANCE, INC. registered in Delaware 2 days later. Same entity in rwa[.]wtf
> Vlad and Fern follow right after
> Public dev Josh lists The Index Finance on GitHub + pushed DefiLlama adapter
July 28: deployer funds admin wallets, then hands over token + treasury + V2
Company exists. Dev is public. Onchain trail is there
Vlad keeps talking about stocks + crypto
INDEX is the only project on the chain doing it at scale
Coincidence?
