Aging is about to be cured.
Not in the next few decades.
In the 2030s.
I predict that the cure for aging will be found by 2035, possibly sooner.
I write (and build) around longevity, the cure for aging, and how we all can live longer, healthier lives.
Aging will potentially be cured within the next decade, and your only job is to still be here when it happens.
You are not going to die.
If you are a healthy person under ~50, you are probably not going to have to experience death.
Play your cards right: Stay alive and healthy for the next few decades and keep your health in check.
And you will have the opportunity to decline death.
Extending your healthspan buys you time spent healthy.
Extending your lifespan buys you more time alive.
Both matter. Invest in both.
Solving aging will give everyone that wants to indefinite time to experience all that life has to offer and to work on countless of projects that they want to work on and accomplish.
This is one of my personal reasons for going after longevity and the cure for aging first before everything else.
Go after the root cause, not the byproduct
Cure cancer completely and average lifespan goes up about 3 years.
Three.
Not because cancer is not brutal. It is because something else is already waiting behind it.
That is the part most people miss. The diseases show up late. *Aging* is the process running underneath all of them.
Go after the hallmarks of aging and you are not preventing one disease. You are delaying the whole queue.

I do all my work for the future of humanity.
For a future that is without any diseases (including aging)
For a future where death is optional.
Where humanity is an immortal and thriving species.
Getting enough sleep on a regular basis and schedule, eating clean, and exercising regularly.
Those are the doorways to LEV and to living long enough for humanity to defeat aging.
The fair question on everyones mind: why 2035?
1. AI is shrinking the time it takes to do biology research.
2. Rejuvenation is now measurable in the lab. Researchers recently reset blood cells from an 80-year-old to a molecular age under 20.
3. AI and biotechnology enable exponentially greater and accelerated progress.
2035 is close enough to account for the acceleration, but not too far away to dismiss it entirely.
It's a prediction, not a promise.
If I'm off by a decade, the goal stays the same: be here when it happens.

If you are not engaging in habits that support your healthspan and life expectancy, and abstaining from bad ones, you are leaving free years on the table.
Researchers in Bonn turned blood cells from an 80-year-old into neural stem cells with a molecular age under 20.
They skipped the usual stem-cell step, so the reset played out slowly over weeks.
That makes it possible to study what speeds it up or slows it down.
It's lab-dish work, not a therapy.
But age is the biggest risk factor for Alzheimer's, so understanding how cells get younger matters.

The future:
120-130: maybe I should waive off the whiskey
130-140: wow, I feel much better now
140-150: let’s see what these new rejuvenation drugs that are out now can do for me
150-160: I feel 30 again
You age faster if you engage in unhealthy habits, consistently.
You age slower if you engage in healthy habits, consistently.
It’s really that simple.
Your chronological age is the amount of time you have lived on Earth.
It doesn’t represent the overall health of your biological systems.
We need an accurate measurement and indication of our overall health and functional capacity.
Your biological age is one way to measure that.
Aging ends in our lifetimes.
Be here when it does.
Defeat aging by staying here long enough.
Stay alive to see it happen.
I write (and build) around longevity before I work on BCIs and space exploration.
Here’s why:
Healthier and longer lives is what makes every other long project possible.
Merging humans with superintelligence or building a second home for humanity takes decades, and the people who work on it need to exist to finish it.
Solving aging comes first. BCIs and space come right after, and I'll write about both along the way.
