ALT Time for an AI chat folks. The issue with AI we all know is that it doesn’t recognize copyright and also doesn’t recognize when things are a bit too close. It doesn’t acknowledge intellectual property, and it can’t identify where it’s getting information from. So I can’t say for sure this author has ever even heard of me. I can’t say they ran my cover through AI with the intent of copying. No one will ever know that.
ALT But AI did copy my book. From the tendrils of the seaweed, to the design of the characters, the background, the misread item in her hair, even the titling of the story. And that’s just a shit feeling to see a book like this ranking on Amazon when myself and my artist put so much effort into creating a work of art. Not to mention copyright infringement.

AI tech bros made the decision to ignore copyright laws and intellectual property rights and unethically exploit the intellectual properties of millions of creators because they knew those properties have value but they wished to avoid paying for the use of said properties.
