आमच्या वेळेला सांगलीत काही चांगले शिक्षक होते. ते कायम सांगायचे, “भिड्या हा पुढे समाजाची वाट लावणार, समाजाचं अधःपतन करणार आणि अर्धवट विचारांची पिढी तयार करणार. हा माणूस समाजासाठी विषारी ठरणार आहे.”
त्यावेळी त्यांचं म्हणणं आम्हाला फारसं समजलं नाही. पण आजूबाजूला घडणाऱ्या गोष्टी पाहिल्यावर त्या शिक्षकांचे शब्द आठवतात.
आज परिस्थिती अशी झाली आहे की, पाकिस्तानची रांगोळी काढायची, मग कुणीतरी उड्या मारत यायचं आणि ती रांगोळी पायाने पुसायची! आणि या सगळ्या नाटकातून आपण किती देशभक्त, धर्मभक्त आणि राष्ट्रभक्त आहोत, हे दाखवायचं!
पण प्रश्न असा आहे की, यातून देशाचं काय भलं होतं?
देशभक्ती म्हणजे केवळ प्रतीकात्मक स्टंटबाजी नव्हे. धर्मभक्ती म्हणजे दुसऱ्यांचा द्वेष नव्हे. आणि राष्ट्रभक्ती म्हणजे लोकांच्या विचार करण्याच्या क्षमतेवर पडदा टाकणं नव्हे.
समाजाला विवेकी, वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोन असलेली आणि प्रश्न विचारणारी पिढी हवी. केवळ भावनिक आवाहनांवर नाचणारी गर्दी नव्हे.
देशभक्तीच्या नावाखाली आपण नेमकी कशी पिढी घडवत आहोत, हा प्रश्न प्रत्येकाने स्वतःला विचारायला हवा.

Apparently AI-2030 FRA/Del has taken off from Jaipur after aircraft and Pilot and crew were checked and cleared.
It is a mystery how the ATC heard the Squawk of 7500, when apparently the Pilot never squawked it ? I guess the Flydubai incident has made Indian aviation more particular than ever before.
PIC was instructed by Bom & Del ATC to divert to JAI and he did.
Looks like a matter for the @DGCAIndia to look into now.

The government never hesitates to tax stock market investors whenever it needs revenue. Whether investors make profits or suffer losses, taxes and charges keep flowing into government coffers.
But when investors are bleeding, markets are collapsing, and confidence is eroding, the government remains a silent spectator. Is it unreasonable for investors to expect at least a word of reassurance or a signal that their concerns matter?
Investors are not merely a source of tax revenue. They are risk-takers who commit their hard-earned savings to the economy. If the government wants investors to contribute to its revenues, it cannot afford to ignore their pain when the market is in distress.
A market cannot thrive on taxation alone; it needs confidence, trust and policy support. Wake up before investor confidence turns into lasting disillusionment.

मी आज नाही, अनेक वर्ष झाले पाहतोय, तुम्हीही पाहत असाल की सामाजिक आंदोलन असो, उत्सव असो किंवा मग इतर कुठला कार्यक्रम सगळ्यात जास्त तणाव पोलिसांवर येतो.
दिवसातले १२-१४ तास पोलिस उभे असतात. साधं पाणीसुद्धा पुरवले जात नाही. सगळ्यात तणावाची नोकरी.
त्यात हे असले शूज. काळ्या रंगाचे. चामड्याचे. हे शूज घालून १२-१४ तास मुंबईच्या गरमीत उभे राहायचे, किती अवघड आहे.
अनेक पोलिसांशी बोललो, पायाला फोड येतात. टाचा दुखतात. पोटऱ्या भरून येतात.
कॉन्स्टेबल बोलू शकत नाहीत. हे सगळ्यांना दिसते, अनेकदा विषय निघतो. पण निर्णय होत नाही ..
उत्तम स्पोर्ट शूज, आरामदायी आणि चांगले ventilation असलेले ही गरज आहे.
नाहीतर ही मंडळी साठी येईपर्यंत खरच सक्षम राहतील का ?
गृहमंत्री, डीजीपी आणि सीपी सरांनी यावर सहानुभूतीने विचार करावा.
