Love @worrydream's Magic Ink and his less glamorous ideas of reducing interaction. Ironically, I decided to add a lot of interaction to expand and explain his idea to add whiskers to traditional star ratings.
Also, please read worrydream.com/MagicInk/.

I made Agentation for Figma (I know the UI is busted 🥲)
- Captures all comments and replies in a section or frame
- Assigns node IDs to every comment
- Batch copy/paste into Claude, Cursor, or straight back into Figma agent to execute edits
Shoutout @benjitaylor 🐐

For years I've been taking selfies of my outfits just to remember what I wore or share with friends. Camera roll: thousands of pictures, zero of them findable. So i built the thing i wanted. Meet Yafa 🧵

Your hardest client to work with is yourself.
Looking at your own work from a third-person point of view, brining out your personality visually, while also optimising it for recruiters who may not be designers is genuinely challenging.
Here is a glimpse into my website!

Did you know that SSDs use quantum tunnelling to store data? Or that we have to completely rewrite RAM every 30ms to prevent data from just dissipating?
If you did, then you can probably skip this chapter on how computers store data:

For high performing ICs, one of the easiest ways to inspire confidence in your abilities is through consistent, reliable follow-through and communication:
1. Say what you’re going to do.
2. Do it well. Tell your manager you’re doing it.
3. Tell your manager you did it.
4. Repeat.
The problem is when you skip one of these steps. You might be doing the work, but if you forget to tell your manager, they will rightfully follow up because they have no idea what you're doing and how it's going.
Many people think "being independent" and "having to manage up" are at odds. But actually, one leads to the other: When you proactively keep stakeholders in the loop, they trust that you'll pull them in as needed and let them know how things are going before they ask, all of which makes them want to encourage you to go forth boldly and keep doing what you're doing.

I still don't know what lead to "success". But I know what leads to insuccess: a temperament of complaint, the mentality of permanent victimhood, and the collective and individual propensity for lamentation.
