What is unfolding at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) @NDDCOnline constitutes a grave abuse of office and a flagrant disregard for established procurement laws. This is not mere administrative irregularity; it is desperate corruption that betrays the trust of taxpaying Nigerians. ππ„π“πˆπ“πˆπŽπ: I call on the Bureau of Public Procurement (@BPP_NG) to urgently investigate the fraudulent procurement of cleaning companies by the Managing Director of the NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku @drsamuelogbuku . Companies that were improperly engaged have taken over from firms that were duly and properly procured, effective 3rd August 2026. As Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the International Human Rights Protection Service (IHRPS), I further call on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (@officialEFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (@icpcnigeria) to investigate these transactions without delay. Of particular concern is the fact that award letters to the newly engaged companies were purportedly backdated to 5th March 2026, yet these entities only commenced operations as the Commission’s janitorial service providers on 3rd August 2026. We demand full disclosure of the following: β€’ The national dailies in which these contracts were advertised; and β€’ The exact dates of such advertisements. We further demand the immediate reinstatement of all companies that were unlawfully displaced so that they may be afforded a fair opportunity to participate in a transparent, competitive, and lawful bidding process in accordance with the Public Procurement Act and related regulations. If we are serious about building strong institutions, the rule of law must be respected by all, without exception. Economic sabotage of this nature is not merely an administrative offence; it is an assault on the public interest and a crime against the Nigerian people. A stitch in time saves nine. Faithfully, Richard Masi Chairman, Rivers State Chapter International Human Rights Protection Service (IHRPS)

Donating cars in the midst of real hardship is misplaced, but it’s okay. Let’s the poor take their share from Tompolo and vote their conscience!
Tompolo donates 30 vehicles as Adeleke, Oyetola back mobilisation for Tinubu in Osun High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has donated 30 campaign vehicles and other materials to the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement as political leaders in Osun rallied support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. The gathering brought together representatives of Governor Ademola Adeleke and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, with calls to mobilise between 1.5 million and two million votes for the President. Speaking through the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Chief Kestin Pondi, Tompolo urged Osun residents to deliver at least 90 per cent of votes cast in the presidential election to Tinubu. He attributed increased revenue available to state governments to the President’s economic reforms, saying the measures had strengthened their capacity to pay salaries and pensions and execute infrastructure projects. β€œMost people would have started their reforms in their second term, but he did start his reforms in the first term,” he said, arguing that Tinubu deserved another term to consolidate his administration’s programmes. Governor Adeleke, represented by his deputy, Kola Adewusi, described the gathering as evidence of cooperation across party lines in support of the President. He commended Tompolo for the initiative and urged coalition members to put aside previous political disagreements as they took their mobilisation to communities across Osun. β€œAll coalition partners have a duty to overlook all previous relationship antagonism and join hands to deliver between 1.5 to 2 million votes for Mr. President,” Adeleke said. The governor clarified that the coalition’s partnership was centred on the presidential election. Oyetola, represented by Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, also backed the mobilisation drive, saying support for Tinubu’s re-election was extending beyond the APC’s traditional political base. He urged supporters across the South-West to translate their endorsements into votes at polling units. β€œOur strength must be reflected not just in a political declaration, but in votes that we cast in all our polling units,” he said. Earlier, the National Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Sunday Asuku, called for widespread grassroots participation in the movement’s campaign for Tinubu’s return in 2027. #GbaramatuVoice #PBATDoorToDoor

Heated Debate as Nigerian Secondary School Student Blames Government for Rising Fraud in the Country A heated debate ensues as an SSS 2 student argues that government failure is a major factor contributing to the rise in fr@udulent activities in Nigeria. He argues that mass unemployment and poverty caused by poor governance have pushed many people into fr@ud, questioning what the government expects from graduates who have spent five years after leaving university without securing jobs. He also points to the increasing number of companies leaving the country, economic hardship caused by government policies, and the collapse of the education sector as major factors contributing to the problem. He further argues that an idle mind is the devil's workshop, stressing that government policies and failure to create opportunities have created conditions that push some people into fraudulent activities.

By the information from the ICT director of INEC, the 2027 elections have been RIGGED already. If those Ai PVC are not removed from the systems they have been installed in, then we must all kiss the elections of 2027 goodbye
INEC CHAIRMAN: ATTACKS ON NYSC MEMBERS, ELECTION OFFICIALS WILL ATTRACT FULL WEIGHT OF THE LAW The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Joash O. Amupitan, SAN, has charged electoral officials across the South-South geopolitical zone to uphold impartiality, discipline and accountability as the Commission intensifies preparations for the #NigeriaDecides2027 Professor Amupitan gave the charge on Saturday, 31 October 2026, at the South-South Zonal Interactive Meeting with Staff and Readiness Assessment in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where he warned that partisanship, negligence, absenteeism and financial impropriety would attract disciplinary action. The Chairman said the assessment was part of the Commission’s field-based approach to evaluating operational preparedness, identifying gaps and strengthening service delivery ahead of the elections. He cited INEC’s conduct of governorship elections in Anambra, Ekiti and Osun States, FCT Area Council elections and 16 by-elections as experiences informing preparations for the nationwide exercise. He disclosed that the South-South zone has 15,823,550 registered voters, including 3,736,434 in Rivers State, and stressed that no eligible voter should be disenfranchised through administrative negligence or logistical failure. On electoral technology, Professor Amupitan said the Commission was preparing its Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), including 57,000 newly procured devices, while auditing electronic result management systems to strengthen transparency in result transmission through the INEC Result Viewing (IReV) portal. Addressing concerns over suspicious photographs on the preliminary voters’ register published online, he said the Commission was examining the records and would take corrective action based on verified findings. He urged the public to participate in the display, claims and objections process ahead of the publication of the final register scheduled for 15 December 2026. The Chairman also highlighted the logistical challenges posed by the region’s creeks, coastal settlements and riverine communities. He disclosed that INEC had finalised a Memorandum of Understanding with the Maritime Transporters Union to support the timely and secure transportation of election personnel and materials. On election security, he reaffirmed the Commission’s collaboration with security agencies under the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES), emphasising intelligence-led planning and the protection of voters, electoral materials and personnel. He warned that anyone who threatens or harms INEC officials, including National Youth Service Corps members deployed for election duties, would face the full weight of the law. Professor Amupitan further emphasised strict compliance with electoral laws, regulations and guidelines, while highlighting staff welfare measures, including the Consolidated Election Management Body Salary Structure (CEMBSS), enhanced salary, hazard and field allowances, and a 150 per cent increase in monthly state office overhead allocations, effective 1 July 2026.

INEC: AI-Generated Photos Got Into the Register Through Registration Officers - Bayode We have registration officers who have access to the login details required to access the system. However, we have discovered that some of these officers, not just in the locations where we have identified irregularities but also across various states nationwide, have engaged in activities that have introduced irregularities into the register. We are addressing these issues even before the release of the preliminary register. Dr. Lawrence Bayode, Director, ICT At The Independent National Electoral Commission

H.E. Gov @SimFubaraKSC is exactly the type of politician the people of Rivers state want to have going into the future as a state. Love him or hate him, he embodies peace, talks less and acts more. Fubara is far from the type of leaders we had who made our state known world over as a politically violent state. My Oga, you have a second constitutional term to serve our state. Whenever you’re convinced that you want to serve us again, men and women from all over the state will rise with you and I’ll be in front mobilizing like I once did for you in 2022/23. We love you boss 🎊❀️

I was literally begging my club @ChelseaFC to buy Victor, but they went for Delap. What a club!
🚨 Wayne Rooney on Victor Osimhen performance against Konyaspor πŸ—£οΈ Victor Osimhen shares alot of similarity with Erling Haaland and It's crazy how every European top team watched him end up at Galatasary. This is the type of a striker that Manchester United United should be looking at. His presence makes opponents scared, they will always watch out for him. This gives his teammates freedom to do the dirty job for Galatasary, like tonight Konyaspor defence focused on him, while Rafael Leao,Batrakov and Akgun scored extra three goals for Galatasary. Galatasary have one of the best strikers in the world and they have to do everything possible to keep him there for a long time.

Dear Senate President @Senator_Akpabio The @NGRSenate is not a private club, and democracy is not a political inheritance! The β€œNo Vacancy” motion moved by Senator Tahir Monguno and endorsed by the 10th Senate in support of your return as Senate President and other Principal offices is an affront to democratic competition and institutional independence. Leadership must emerge through a transparent and democratic process, not political coronation. Nigerians deserve a legislature focused on accountability, representation and public service, not the protection of political interests. Public office is a responsibility, not an entitlement. Democracy must never be reduced to a coronation!
