Keralam's economy continues its robust growth trajectory!
Compared to the same period in the previous year, our state has recorded significant strides in both revenue generation and capital expenditure, paving the way for comprehensive development.
Key highlights:
🔹 Own Tax Revenue has increased by ₹6,486 Crore, marking a solid growth of 16.54% compared to the same period last year.
🔹 Own Non-Tax Revenue saw an impressive surge of 71.96%, reflecting an increase of ₹4,295 Crore from the previous year.
🔹 Total Revenue witnessed a remarkable growth of 21.12%, going up by ₹19,179 Crore against last year's figures.
🔹 Capital Expenditure grew by a massive 57% over the same period last year, with an additional ₹4,217 Crore dedicated to infrastructure and developmental projects.
🔹 GST collections till September 2026 grew by 19% year-on-year. It is highly encouraging to note that while October 2025 saw a -2% decline in GST growth, October this year has already registered a stellar 28% growth so far.
The UDF government remains committed to building a stronger, more resilient Keralam!

A bench of Justices K Natarajan and Johnson John rejected the applications of Vijayan, his daughter Veena T and her husband P A Mohamed Riyas to file an appeal against the single judge's October 9 order.

VDS is on point here about the failures of the Pinarayi Govt. Vizhinjam Port came online, and they didn't build a proper road or rail connectivity to it. It was absurd beyond reason, and costs have now gone up 3x.
Who builds a massive port without any road or rail connection?
