Disappointing response from the minister to my question about how funding for reorganising councils & forming mayoral regions will be handled
I will keep making the case that a govt dictated scheme should be fully funded by them or communities could see services cut to pay for it

Hampshire County Council is on Thursday this week debating asking for elections to be cancelled this year for administrative convenience. County elections have only been cancelled since 1900 for two world wars. What's your view? #Hampshire #Elections #DemocracyUnderThreat

Guess what - the EU 🇪🇺 also produces 41% more steel, 59% more vehicles, 39% more planes and 53 times as many ships as the US 🇺🇸
Of course, nobody will write about that.

This is great news. In many areas, councils have led the way in putting in place services to improve men's health. We're delighted to see @LGAcomms supporting and celebrating this - and backing our campaign for a national men's health strategy.
