Let's do it. Let's dare him to veto:
— Ending the Iran war — Canceling $1 trillion in Medicaid cuts — Restoring ACA Tax Credits — Raising the federal minimum wage — Terminating tariffs and issuing refunds to consumers — Forcing data centers to pay for their own energy and water — Banning presidential and congressional stock trading

His first response to a Democratic landslide that he had little to do with is to bleat about finding ‘bipartisan common ground’. Do you think Republicans would be talking about bipartisanship if they had just secured the biggest House majority for decades? Sigh.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said that his party is “ready, willing and able to find bipartisan common ground” in order to work with Republicans on the ongoing affordability crisis. abcnews.visitlink.me/ymEF7Q

Trump and his administration have been personally profiting from their official decisions for 2 years. Trump fired the ethics watchdog who oversaw corruption and conflicts of interest in the executive branch less than a month into his 2nd term. Non-stop corruption ever since.

Raskin: We have the power to declare war, not Donald Trump and JD Vance and their signal chat group. We've got the power to appropriate money. You can't impound it, you can't redirect it… We have got the power to regulate federal buildings. If the president can bulldoze the east wing, he can bulldoze the west wing. It is not his house. It is our house, it belongs to the people.

No one asks a white person what they are going to do about white supremacy. One Muslim is supposed to answer for over 1 billion people in several different countries. This is outrageous.
"Do you believe that leaders have a responsibility to challenge the extremist views within their own religion?" Sara Haines's question to the first Muslim senator on The View today. When was the last time you saw Chuck Schumer asked to challenge extremist Jews, or Ted Cruz asked to challenge extremist Christians? This is what an Islamophobic double standard looks like.

🔥 Sen. @AbdulElSayed: “We’re told standing against 🇮🇱’s genocide is about hate. It’s not. It’s about equal love for Palestinian kids as you’d have for a Jewish child… We must uphold international law, and separate the Jewish people and 🇮🇱’s actions.”

Trump may be the weakest Western leader in 50 years. Putin murders Ukrainian civilians, and Trump responds by blaming both sides. He cannot distinguish aggression from self-defence, refuses to confront a dictator, and mistakes appeasement for diplomacy. His moral cowardice, strategic incompetence and submission to Putin are utterly disgraceful. But he is a powerless beta male now. And soon he will be investigated.
Reporter: Putin is currently killing Ukrainian civilians—in their homes, on buses, and in schools. He is deliberately targeting civilians. Did you bring this up? Trump: I always bring it up—and I also point out that the other side is killing people, too. 🤮🤮🤮 Trump is either too stupid or too corrupt to understand the difference between the aggressor (Russia) and the defender (Ukraine).

He bankrupted casinos, resorts, hotels, a vodka company, meat company, mortgage company, vitamin company, a football league, an airline, a university, a media company, and got bailed out over and over by his dad, Deutsche Bank, and NBC. What did you think was going to happen?

James Talarico traces 50 years of trickle-down back to one 1971 document, the Powell memo, a corporate blueprint to buy power “In fact, you can, you can pinpoint this one document called the Powell memo, 1971.” “But if you read this memo, it's basically a blueprint for how corporate interests can start to dismantle the Great Society and the New Deal” “They're going to spend massive amounts of money in our politics, buying politicians in both parties, elevate corporate voices in media, appoint sympathetic judges.” “And that has really been the story of the last 50 years in this country, last five decades.” w/ @jamestalarico

If Trump is endorsing Schumer, you know Schumer is going to protect Trump. This is a no go.
Trump throws his support behind Chuck Schumer: “Chuck Schumer probably gets it [Majority Leader]. He is not a bad guy. I know him very well.” At this point anyone who thinks change is coming from the duopoly isn’t paying attention. We need a revolution.

"I don’t want Jared Kushner to be investigated because he’s the president’s son-in-law. I want him investigated because he’s potentially laundered and embezzled $2 billion dollars in funds from the governments of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. I don’t want Stephen Miller investigated because he’s a racist ghoul who’s at the center of the Trump brain trust. I want him investigated because he’s a racist ghoul who has violated the due-process rights of millions of people and, potentially, directly violated court orders. I don’t want Pete Hegseth investigated because he’s a toxic psychopath who is unqualified to lead America’s military forces. I want him investigated because he’s a fucking murderer who needs to spend the rest of his life in jail, either in this country or The Hague." thenation.com/article/politi…

I'm less impressed by how @ossoff speaks (though he's terrific at that too) and more impressed by what he says. This 2-minute clip is the best explanation of Trump corruption that I've ever heard. His explanation of the Russian dirty deals is so accurate and so clear. He knows the facts cold. And he explains them better than I can.
He has that Obama elocution.

Trump is in office to solve Putin's problems, and so this makes perfect sense. Now that he has been dealt a blow at home watch for his "duties" to foreign autocrats to escalate. And watch carefully who will be appointed when the purges begin (many autocrats get into a rage a purge their cabinets and advisors when they have a setback or narcissistic injury.
This is bad. Sergio Gor (aka Sergei Gorokhovsky / Сергей Гороховский), who has been previously identified as a potential security risk, is now being considered for WH Chief of Staff or even Secretary of State!
