I’m a lifelong Republican. I voted for Trump 4 times. I told all my friends to vote for him in 2024.
But now, thanks to high gas & grocery prices, more corruption & bigger inflation, I feel I was sold a lie.
They said no new wars; we’re at war.
They said $2/gallon gas; it’s $10.
So today, for the first time, I voted Democrat across the ticket here in Texas.

My hot take is that TNG, not TOS, made Star Trek into a true cultural phenomenon.
Without TNG, it's just a fondly remembered, often prescient, occasionally schlocky 1960s sci-fi series and sequel movies. But TNG reinvented and elevated the show, creating the franchise.
