The 60M USDT the attacker sent to @aave was used as collateral to borrow 19,762 ETH.
Update: The original USDT drain was $1.61 billion. After that another $59.6M USDT was drained with two more sweeps.
Of that total $1.675B USDT:
• Tether froze $1.18B (70%)
• $435M was swapped into other assets (using Uniswap an other DEX venues)
• $60M was deposited into AAVE (for aUSDT)

I've been looking back at what @primus_labs has built since 2023, and it's interesting to see how much the focus has evolved.
What started with zkTLS research and tools for verifying web data has gradually expanded into something much more relevant to onchain finance.
2023 ➥ Early verification tools and research
2024 ➥ USENIX research and the move from PADO to Primus
2025 ➥ Developer infrastructure, social payments and AlphaNet
2026 ➥ Proof of Reserves, BNB Chain integration and more work around confidential finance
The part that stands out to me isn't the number of milestones.
It's how verification and privacy are becoming practical requirements for financial applications.
Institutions need to prove certain things are true without exposing everything about their operations. And that's a much bigger problem than simply bringing assets onchain.
Looking at this timeline, I think that's the direction Primus has been moving toward.

Solana is one of the fastest and cheapest places to transact, but most of crypto apps are still written for ethereum
