Just throwing this out there.
I wonder how many ex & current MCFC players are now sitting there wondering why their agent seemed so keen for them to accept the City offer over other offers?

It's been 10 years since his passing, yet his impact on his sport and in this world remains. He was many things to many people, and, for me, he was one of the pillars for the love of boxing that became my profession and became my identity.
His personality, his immense skills and his profound intangibles were beyond question and he remains among the top 10 pound-for-pound fighters to have ever pulled on gloves, an incredibly difficult feat for a relatively modern fighter.
In 2018, I co-authored a book that examined his career statistically and it was one of the most fascinating studies I ever conducted. It shouldn't have been a surprise that it ended up being that way, for his appeal is timeless. The book also graphically explained why he experienced the health issues that began in his 30s and that would grow progressively worse throughout the remainder of his life.
He is still missed, but we are sustained by the countless memories he created for all of us. Continue to rest in peace.

If these numbers are right, and I believe they ARE good and evidence-based estimates of "harm," the very low harm products at the bottom are VASTLY safer than alcohol. So it is not logical to tax and regulate them the same way we tax and regulate deadly cigarettes.

Another horrible plume of toxic smoke engulfed me today... Is it time to ban vaping in public places? Formaldehyde, heavy metals, ultra fine particles ..scientists call it 'third-hand exposure' ...

I watched this movie last night. Incredibly powerful and inspiring.
Might have been wise for all those gobbing off about the BAFTA
N-word saga to have watched it too before making so many shockingly ill-informed comments. I'm looking at the likes of you, Jamie Foxx!

Had everyone in the audience that night seen the biopic about Davidson's life, probably not, but they knew he was there, and they knew why, and the public response to this from *people who were at the ceremony* has been truly unconscionable
Nige retweeted
Writing about the BAFTAs controversy, I was initially more sympathetic to Davidson but also willing to concede that maybe this was a "difficult for all involved" situation
Then I discovered *why* Davidson was in the audience, and my soul left my god damn body

I’m mixed race and part-black, you fool.
I wrote an article in a national newspaper about being called a dirty n*gger by a member of the Equalities Committee during my first year of uni.
I know racism.
I’ve experienced it my whole life.
Which is why I refuse to sit silently while an innocent man is being destroyed online by my own people and branded a racist for a disability he cannot control.
I refuse to play into the perpetual victimhood culture. It makes a mockery of real racism.

If John had shouted it as I'm on a stage and wasn't told beforehand that he was there, I'd be embarrassed, go back stage, ask what happened, be told why, what and when then gone and found him, give him a hug, laughed and said "fuck all to worry about, how are you pal?".
If I'd have been on the stage and known he was there and he shouted it out, I'd have said " we've got the amazing John Davidson in the house, I've seen both documentaries as a young man, will watch what I hear is and incredible film and look forward to a beer with him during the after party. Disability and Tourettes isn't a crime, go to Tourettes Action UK to teach yourself about John's world".
Replying to @StanCollymore
Stan your mixed race and Brittish. What is your view.
All these people calling him racist dot understand the disability.
