Unfortunately I don’t think $META trades well in the near term and probably goes back to being a funding short
Everyone has known Zuck has sorta been flying blind when it comes to AI (he even said so with Wang when he tried to chew that pint down like it was vodka) and tonight didn’t really help.
Muse monetization feels very uncertain, at least with respect to timing. I also still think people enjoy shopping and buying things themselves (especially people who typically buy things off Instagram and Facebook) but that’s up for debate and will take time to prove out. Anecdotally, myself and everyone I’ve talked to about Muse now struggle to find reasons to use it regularly
I think Muse monetization will probably turn guilty of being a disappointment until it’s proven otherwise, which could take a very long time
Not to mention the equity issuance overhang and not providing FY27 revenue guidance leaves even more uncertainty. It’s been a great rally for Meta recently but I fear it could be headed back to the doghouse

Rosalind for new drug discovery ideas:
GPT-Rosalind surfaced a new lead for drug discovery: could restoring cholesterol transport protect neurons from degeneration?
DCTN1 is a gene linked to Perry syndrome, a rare neurodegenerative disorder. In mouse-brain data, disrupting it increased expression of genes involved in making cholesterol. GPT-Rosalind suggested a possible explanation: cholesterol may not be reaching where neurons need it.
That gives scientists a specific mechanism to test and, if confirmed, a direction for developing new treatments for neurodegenerative disorders.
With @perturbai_tx and @scrippsresearch, a team of thousands of GPT-Rosalind agents worked in parallel, connecting gene-expression results from millions of mouse brain cells with scientific literature in just 32 minutes. We’re now expanding this collaboration to identify new drug targets.

BofA: Agentic demand could be ~20mn+ AI CPUs per 1bn users…we estimate agentic CPU shipments could reach ~26mn units by CY30 from only ~2.5mn units in CY26, given incremental ~20mn+ CPU demand for every 1bn new agentic users 🔥🔥

WOW!! $NOK just crushed their earnings!!
- Operating profit came in at €605M vs €442M expected, a 37% beat.
- Margins jumped 220bps to 11.7%.
- Revenue was €5.15B, up 10% and ahead of the Street.
The AI story got even stronger. AI & Cloud sales rose 123%, after doubling last quarter. IP Networks grew 43% and optical 18%. Network Infrastructure, the AI side of the business, grew 17%. And the Infinera integration is finishing a full year ahead of plan.
Two things that bears will pound the table on is...1) AI & Cloud orders were €1.5B, below last quarter’s €2.8B, and 2) the full year profit guide was held at €2.1–2.6B instead of raised. After a beat this size, that guide looks conservative to me but im expecting someone to ask about orders on the call.
Add a live AI-RAN call with T-Mobile and $NVDA and Nokia is now squarely in the AI infrastructure trade. Overweight, $23.80 PT.

Elon is right - compute will get more expensive over time as its value for doing jobs increases. Wall Street is in for a rude shock - everyone is as interest rates are going to go up a bunch as all capital pushes toward AI projects.
Market is concerned that AI is approaching peak supply/demand imbalance, therefore putting low multiples on many AI chip and supply chain stocks, fearing peak earnings.
Vs.
@elonmusk has decided to sell $SPCX compute entirely in the spot market because he thinks the compute shortage will persist for many years, and prices for compute will go even higher over time.
One of these are wrong. If Elon is wrong, his business will be the first place that every customer goes to cut in an overbuild, since he is selling the most expensive compute with the shortest terms.

Micron just told investors the memory shortage is not ending anytime soon.
At its technology webinar, Micron said supply will stay tight for at least two more years, and that it still cannot see the point where supply and demand come back into balance.
Every new generation of AI memory eats more wafers per bit than normal DRAM, and Micron said those trade ratios keep going UP.
Micron also unveiled vertical HBM, which stacks memory directly on top of the processor instead of next to it, and its roadmap now runs from HBM4 this year all the way to HBM6 in 2030.
It also took a shot at China's CXMT, calling the density advantage of the 4F² DRAM design it is pushing "a bit of a myth."
That matters because fear of 4F² was part of this month's memory selloff, with investors worried that China could flood the market with cheaper supply.
$MU is still more than 25% below its June high, but the company is telling us the shortage will last LONGER than the market thinks.
The memory supercycle is about to get A LOT bigger,
Every single new wave of AI is creating an entirely NEW layer of demand for memory, and we're still in the EARLY stages of this cycle. HBM capacity per GPU has already increased 3.6X from Nvidia's H100 to B300. Memory per server is expected to DOUBLE over three years as inference and reasoning workloads become increasingly complex. Meanwhile, AI context lengths are growing roughly 30X annually as we move toward agentic AI, and autonomous vehicles could require more than 10X the DRAM capacity of today's advanced vehicles.
And here's what makes this so interesting for $MU. We're no longer talking about memory demand being driven primarily by training larger AI models. Every time these models become more capable, they need additional memory to store context, process information, run complex reasoning tasks, and interact with other AI agents. And as AI moves beyond data centers into robotics, autonomous vehicles, and physical devices, we're going to see an entirely new category of memory consumption. This is especially important because Micron isn't just exposed to HBM. It also benefits from server DRAM, LPDDR, and NAND storage, meaning the company has exposure across practically the ENTIRE memory hierarchy.
And unlike previous memory cycles, supply cannot simply expand overnight. Building new fabrication facilities takes YEARS, while manufacturers are increasingly allocating capacity toward more complex, higher value products like HBM. That's precisely why I continue to believe investors are underestimating just how long this memory upcycle could last. Bullish on $MU, if you want to see how I’m investing around this memory supercycle and the other AI infrastructure names I’m positioned in, check out my full Milk Road Pro portfolio below.

holy fucking shit.
openai just had thousands of ai agents go through roughly 40,000 scientific papers in 32 minutes to identify promising new directions for neurodegenerative disease research.
i swear the most exciting ai developments lately aren’t even the model releases. it’s watching these systems begin to tackle actual scientific problems.
this is insane.

$SPCX Starlink looks to be driving customer acquisition gains for United Airlines
“We already see customers moving from other airlines today.”
United Airlines CEO reveals Starlink is already pulling travelers from rival airlines--with status-match applications running 4x normal and 25% obtaining or seeking a United credit card
SCOTT KIRBY (CEO): “We’re planning for higher oil—or higher jet-fuel prices—and higher industry capacity next year.
“We’re doing reasonably well even in this environment, and we have a big tailwind coming next year, too, with Starlink.
“You flew last night and didn’t have it, and you can tell how different it is without it.
“We’re going to cross the 50% threshold this week—50% of flights with Starlink. By the end of next year, we’ll finish Starlink.
“We already see customers moving from other airlines today.”
LeBeau: “Put some numbers on how many customers have moved over to you because you believe Starlink has convinced them this is the place to go.”
KIRBY: “It’s mostly anecdotal today with some numbers though, but the status-match program we did had about four times the normal number of status-match applications.
“What’s amazing is that a quarter of those customers either already have or have applied for the United credit card, which is also an indication of their intent to stay at United.
“One thing that makes United unique is that we operate in the most contested markets. Our hubs are in the most contested markets in the country—places like Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.
“There are more customers up for grabs. There are more splitters—people in those places who fly multiple airlines—and what we’re finding is that they’re moving exclusively to United.”

Public investors see the supply side of AI (the chips and the hyperscalers), and little of the demand side, because the demand lives in private companies (as my colleague @jrichlive often says).
Since April, token usage on @Vercel's AI Gateway has grown almost 8x, and spend more than 3x’d.
Prices fell by more than half during that time, and developers bought nearly eight times as much. In 30 years, I haven't seen demand like this.
