To think the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) alone has more tactical helicopters, and far better equipped at that, than the RAF and British Army combined.

There’s obviously an economic aspect but also a socioeconomic aspect no one wants to talk about.
More signs of the consumer tapping out. Six Flags had over 1 million fewer visitors in Q2 and lost $100 million between all of their parks. The stock has plunged 47% this year.

"Rent a room from family" You know my daughter told me most of her friends pay their parents rent and I couldn't believe that was a thing but the more I talk to people the more I find out just how awful some parents are.
Ok, so for the past few days, younger people have been on this platform whining because they don't have any money, can't buy a house, working too hard, etc. I truly am sorry that you guys are experiencing this. I know that some are blaming boomers and saying it's because we were selfish, we have no idea what it's like, etc. I want to give an honest opinion. First of all, let's stop with generational blame. Everyone is just trying to live their life. And life is hard. Period. Secondly, I agree that housing has gotten ridiculously expensive. Time to get a few roommates or rent a room from your family. Thirdly, most of us also struggled when we were starting out. There are ways to save. Little things really add up... no professional services (like hairstylists, tattoos, eyebrows, nails), no coffee except what you make at home, no restaurants, only a small entertainment budget, etc. If you are not willing to do this, then you will never be able to manage your money when you finally get it. And last of all, we are rooting for you to succeed. The posts on X are fun, but I personally really do want you to be successful in life! The end.

Lately, I feel like all I'm doing is trying to remind Americans who they are. And how little of what we’re going through is actually new. I see the same defeatist comments every time I post a historical example: “We can’t do that anymore.” “We’re too soft now.” “Those days are gone.” It's almost hilarious, like some of you genuinely believe we haven’t always been called weak. Soft. Decadent. A nation of mongrels. Of playboys. Of amateurs. Go read what our enemies have said about us for 250 years. The insults don’t change. What they never understood, and what many of us have forgotten, is that we’ve always been doubted. And we’ve always answered with fury. Take Colonel Lewis Millett in Korea. He was so fed up with hearing the same tired slanders from the Chinese that Americans wouldn’t fight up close, that we had no stomach for sacrifice, that he ordered a bayonet charge uphill into machine guns. No cover. Just raw audacity. He said: “There comes a time when you have to grab your rifle and go kill the enemy.” I remember hearing that story as a young Soldier and thinking it was inspiring. But I didn’t understand it. I do now. It wasn’t about tactics. It was a defiant reminder.... to his men and to his nation.... of what Americans are made of. In WWII, the Japanese said we were too mongrelized to fight a real war. Then came Midway, and our pilots flew into certain death just to buy seconds, SECONDS, to hit Japanese carriers. The enemy was stunned. They revered the samurai ideal, and even they were awestruck by the self-sacrifice of American aviators. Or take the Battle off Samar. A ragtag group of destroyers, escort carriers, and reservists (Taffy 3) turned to face a force that wildly outmatched them. And they didn’t run. They charged into the abyss, launching torpedoes and smoke and prayers at battleships far larger and more powerful. They horrified the descendants of samurai, again. That’s just off the top of my head this morning. Americans are different. We fight each other all day long, and yet somehow, when it really matters, we become the most formidable, unpredictable force on the planet. Foreign adversaries don’t get it. Hell, sometimes we don’t get it. But it’s real. How are you going to beat a nation that spars with itself every single f*****g day? I hope I don’t have to order a bayonet charge someday just to prove this to you. Maybe words and a little history will do. But don’t say this is new. And don’t say we’ve lost it. We are just... different. And it's time to remember that. We've got 250 years of evidence here. ***Oh, and fighting in the Pacific seems to bring out some unique kind of demon in us. I'm just here giving fair warning.***

When people aren't hurt - Russian, Ukrainian, or anyone else’s - and only equipment is destroyed, that’s the best kind of war!

Majority of men saw their fathers endure divorce, and their mothers dating as a single parent. They know full well what's up and want nothing to do with it. Especially from the other side.

And that rally literally did nothing because rallies are more like modern day fairs and photo ops for political commentary.

Dear Black liberals: Tomorrow I better not hear one fucking word about the American flag being racist. Yall collect checks here, yall need to celebrate and appreciate. Ain’t nobody forcing yall Black asses to live here. America is the greatest country on earth and yall need to be grateful you live here. If yall think America is stolen land, MOVE OFF IT. If the flag reminds you of white supremacy, move to a country with a flag that don’t. If the 4th of July reminds you of slavery, remember that as long as you vote Democrat… YOU ARE A MUTHAFUCKING SLAVE. Stop bitching and moaning about the country that has fought wars so you can be free. Go start over somewhere else, and see how your Blackness is respected.
