Voter turnout in Wisconsin in yesterday's midterm election sits at about 55.5% of the voting age population with 98.5% of the vote counted.
That is below the 57.2% turnout in 2022, but this year's numbers will increase a bit as the final votes are counted

In September, ICE showed up in Dodge City, Kansas, the majority-Hispanic "cattle capital" of the U.S. that is home to major beef-packing plants.
Here's how two prominent local Republicans described the aftermath ⬇️
"Because there's the uncertainty, a lot of those workers didn't go to work," said Gary Harshberger, a Dodge City farmer and business owner. "Restaurants around the town shut down. But that also hurts the beef industry because cattlemen here could not sell their cattle to the plants, and bases dropped by $5."
"A lot happened then that we'd look back at and maybe things would be done differently," added Scott Fischer, chairman of the Ford County GOP. "But there have been a lot of people voting early."

The last day for early voting in Wisconsin was yesterday.
Total early voting today compared with the day before the election in 2022 is up statewide 8%, or 58,310 votes.
In-person absentee voting is up 47% compared to four years ago, or 147,163 votes.
