On my way back from Europe, I had the great pleasure of visiting Prof. Dr. Murat Terzi, a dear friend, mentor, and highly respected visionary leader in neurology in Türkiye 🇹🇷. Professor Murat Terzi currently serves as President of the Turkish Neurological Society, Full Professor of Neurology, and Head of the Department of Neurology at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine in Samsun, Türkiye 🇹🇷.
Throughout his distinguished career, Professor Murat Terzi has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to mentoring, training, inspiring, and engaging young people in neurology and neuroscience across Türkiye and beyond. I have personally had the privilege of meeting him on several occasions at major and top international scientific gatherings in Finland, Switzerland, South Korea, the United States, and across Europe.
Many thanks to Professor Murat Terzi for his great hospitality and for showing me his outstanding research work and ongoing clinical trials in the different advanced laboratories within his Department of Neurology and Neuroscience at the university hospital. Many thanks also to everyone I met there for their warm welcome and hospitality.
It was truly wonderful to benefit once again from his invaluable mentorship, experience, and dedication to advancing neurology and neuroscience. I am also deeply grateful to Professor Murat Terzi for our inspiring discussions about future projects and collaborations that could strengthen neurological education, research, and care.
Finally, I warmly invite all neurologists, neuroscientists, researchers, trainees, neurology residents, and other interested colleagues from Türkiye and around the world to submit their abstracts, attend, and present their work at the internationally attended 62nd National Neurology Congress, organized by the Turkish Neurological Society from 12–16 December 2026 at the Royal Seginus Hotel in Lara, Antalya, Türkiye.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our dearly beloved Papa — Daddy Apostle!
“For as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.” Isaiah 65:22 (KJV)
Today, the entire Koinonia Global family celebrates a father whose life has been marked by strength, wisdom, integrity, and steadfast love.
Papa, we honor God for the precious gift of your life and for the values you have faithfully embodied. Through your fatherhood, sacrifices, counsel, and unwavering support, you have been a tremendous blessing and a part of the foundation upon which the life of our father, Apostle Joshua Selman, has been built. The fruit of your investment continues to speak across nations and generations.
Your life reminds us that the impact of a father extends far beyond his immediate household. The values you have upheld, the sacrifices you have made, and the seeds you have sown continue to bear fruit, touching lives and advancing the purposes of God.
As you enter another year, may the Lord continually preserve and strengthen you, and surround you with His goodness. May your days be filled with peace, divine health, joy, and abundant blessings. May you continue to witness the fruit of your labour flourish, and may the years ahead be marked by greater fulfilment, beautiful testimonies, and the satisfaction of seeing generations blessed through your legacy.
Happy Birthday, Daddy!
We love, honor, and celebrate you today and always.

Today we celebrate our very own PASTOR NATHANIEL BASSEY! 🥳
We honour the man behind the assignment. The priest behind the platform. The worshipper behind the sound. The shepherd behind the flock.
45 years of grace. Of obedience. Of worship. Of being poured out to a generation.

#INTERVIEW: As I highlighted in my recent interview with University World News, yes indeed, where you begin should not determine how far you can go. Scientific excellence is built on curiosity, perseverance, integrity, collaboration, and commitment, not on where you come from.
Many thanks to journalist Clemence Manyukwe and the University World News @uniworldnews team for inviting me to this interview and for highlighting the 2026 H. Richard Tyler Award that I was honored to receive from the American Academy of Neurology @AANmember in Chicago, USA.

To My Lover, Foluke.
Great has been the journey of walking side by side with you. And so today, on your 78th birthday, is a gift to me, to have the world join me in doing what I have spent 58 years doing: celebrating you.
With you, the weight of the assignment has always been a lighter cross to carry. Our two have agreed, and so our walking together has been of divine stride, a race continuously illuminated, step after step, decade after decade. My path shines brighter because I walk it with you.
Many people know you as Mummy G.O. I have the privilege of knowing you simply as my wife, my friend, and the person who has stood with me through every challenge, every victory, and every assignment God has given us. I have watched you give strength to others even when you were tired yourself. I have seen your quiet sacrifices, your compassion, your wisdom, and your unwavering trust in God. Those are the things that make me thank God for you every day.
Our children have been blessed because of your love. The family of God has been blessed because of your devotion. Countless homes have been strengthened because you answered God’s call with all your heart.
Seventy-eight years of your life, fifty-eight years of them beside me, and still I find new reasons to thank God for you. You have been wife, counsel, and companion in every sense the word was ever meant to hold.
As you celebrate today, my prayer is simple. May the God whom you have served so faithfully continue to uphold you. May He surround you with His peace, fill your days with fresh joy, strengthen your body, renew your strength, and continue to satisfy you with His goodness. May the years ahead be even more fruitful than those behind, and may you continue to see the mighty hand of God at work in your life.
Thank you for walking hand in hand with me. Happy 78th birthday, my love.
Your loving husband,
Pastor E. A. Adeboye
