The Jalen Hurts situation is obviously the most serious and egregious. But reports suggested Lane Johnson wanted to retire this offseason because of his mental health issues, but the Eagles brass talked him out of it. Dickerson and Jurgens came back too soon from injuries and it’s derailed their careers. Something isn’t right when it comes to how the Eagles approach player safety. Questions need to be asked regarding the Eagles medical staff and top decision makers.

Yes, you're highlighting that school funding has declined even MORE than the enrollment decline. Meanwhile, we have a higher % of children with specialized needs that require more resources. Foster care has increased exponentially, higher % of students with exceptionalities, etc.

This chart measures total dollars, and total enrollment fell almost exactly as much. ~16.6% between 2009 and 2025. Per-student, decline in basic state aid is well under 1%, not 17%. Once again, a problem with paying for buildings over education.
