This whole episode has been mind-boggling. It is one of the most bizarre things I’ve seen. And I’m kind of shocked GRiZ is allowing himself and his team to be shamed in this way. Weird all around.
GRiZ has announced that Seven Stars will take an “intentional hiatus” and will not return to Oakridge Farms in Arrington, Virginia — following community discussions and concerns surrounding the venue’s history as a former plantation.
Organizers will immediately begin searching for a new venue, with the goal of permanently relocating Seven Stars and establishing a new home for future editions.
She will say ANYTHING! #NoOnNithya
After the Democratic Socialists of America threatened to pull their endorsement of LA mayoral candidate Nithya Raman, she changed her stance.
The DSA declared that she was not strong enough against Israel, and Raman has now come out and stated that she supports BDS, despite opposing it in 2020.
I guess morals aren't important when your career depends on the hateful mob of Free Palestine.
I'm just gonna say it again ... Jewish voters in Michigan have expressed concerns, fears, and anxieties for months about El-Sayed's dangerous anti-Semitic rhetoric and have consistently sought reassurance from him, and people like Mehdi Hasan and others on the left "have not said a word about it" because they don't care about anti-Semitism, they don't care about Jewish safety, and they don't care about the future of American Jewry.
All they care about is Islamophobia (I mean, he says it below!), and their continued refusal to even acknowledge Jewish fears is, as much as anything else, driving Jews to vote for Mike Rogers.
I mean, I wish this wasn't true because I live in America, and I raise my children here, and I want them to live in a country that believes their lives, their identity, and their safety matter. But if the last three years have shown me anything, it's that for much of the left, Jews don't count, and my safety and security do not matter to them.
This happens every single day. The only way to stop the madness is putting @StubHub out of business. Don’t just delete the app, delete your account.
It’s five past 5:00 and I’m already *so annoyed* by Meredith Marks 🙄 #RHOSLC
That was obviously an outlier. I’m just not hearing a lot of enthusiasm for Nithya.
Karen Bass has erased Nithya Raman’s 11-point lead in the L.A. mayor’s race. The two are now tied, a new Berkeley IGS/L.A. Times poll shows. It's a dramatic shift with Election Day just days away.

Dolores Huerta was a pioneering labor leader and legendary civil rights activist. Amidst the struggle of the movement, her rallying cry, "Sí se puede," was a call to stay in the fight.
The work of Dolores Huerta and the United Farm Workers was a driving force for change across California and our country. Her brilliant organizing and fierce negotiating came to the national spotlight during the Delano Grape strike, and countless people benefited from her decades-long career. Thanks to her, immigrants and workers won better wages, working conditions, environmental protections, and voting rights.
I was blessed to know Dolores for many years and proud to organize alongside my dear friend to champion working families and immigrant rights. I will always be grateful for her support and friendship. We will honor her legacy by continuing the fight for the dignity of every person.
Doug and I send our love and prayers to the four generations of loving family she leaves behind, the community she built, and to the millions of people who have been touched by her work.
What sad news to read this morning. Hers was a life well lived. May she rest in peace.

As Nate Silver suggested, the four- or five-point candidate quality gap between Jocelyn Benson and Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan is an example of the sort of self-inflicted injury the Democrats wouldn’t have to deal with, had they nominated a centrist appropriate for that state.
Regardless of midterm results, the Dems need to have an internal reckoning with the left. We can’t let them keep damaging us.

Utah controversy is proof the Pat McAfee ‘College GameDay’ dynamic is unsustainable awfulannouncing.com/espn/pat…
WINNERS:
-Poca HS “Dots” (WV)
-Hoopeston Area HS “Cornjerkers” (IL)
-CO Rocky Mountain School “Rocky Mountain Oysters” (CO)
God what a crybaby. This is the putz ESPN tanked @CollegeGameDay over. We are all worse off for Pat McAfee’s presence in CFB.
Of course nobody thought a Dem would be viable in Iowa, but we have serious candidate quality issues in numerous 2026 Senate contests and the timing is unfortunate.
New: Iowa Democrat Josh Turek is running a radical Senate campaign ... to the center
- Opposes impeachment
- Supports Laken Riley Act
- Criticizes Dems for blocking Husted data center bill and farm bill
- Ticks off all the ways he can work with Trump
“Politically, the term moderate can be pejorative. And I say that I’m proudly a moderate," he says in an interview.
His opponent, Rep. Ashley Hinson, says Turek is "going to be voting with Chuck Schumer 100% of the time." But she too is running toward the center, distancing herself from Trump on Iran, Russia and Vivek ad
Turek: Hinson’s “masquerading. I mean that’s a problem for me. I’m genuinely a bipartisan person,” he added. “She has been partisan. … Just be who you are.”
On the throwback race in Iowa, where “They expect us to represent Iowa interests and not just the interests of whoever’s president of the United States," according to Chuck Grassley -->

the cheesecake factory discourse a back to the future reminder of what 2008-2016 was like on here. Obama makes funny joke revealing he's like the average American (fluent enough in gaudy chain restaurants to jest about a specific chain). GOPers decide it means he's not #oneofus. This goes on for days...
