This view is going to be repeated ad nauseum by the neverTrumpers over the next 2 years. No one cares about tariffs, or any of the BS that tickles their balls, but we do care about immigration and that will be the fault line.
This guy is a devout Christian who was granted protection from his home country because Islamist terrorists are trying to institute sharia law. He's lived here half his life. He's married to an American & has American kids. This is not who the government should be targeting.

The Sisters of Charity have a median age of 87 years old. No one has joined the community since the 1990s. It's just a bunch of leftist elderly women in pants. It will cease to exist in 10-20 years. They can safely be ignored.
NEW: An order of New York nuns founded in 1817 has rebuked the bishops who laid hands on President Trump 12 days before the midterms. “Images carry messages,” the Sisters of Charity wrote. “Silence carries messages, too.” The nuns have a powerful ally in Pope Leo XIV, who has put women at the center of his leadership. They now run three Vatican dicasteries, a larger share than in Trump’s cabinet. thelettersfromleo.com/p/new-…

Batya’s real problem is Vance’s foreign policy. She’s just too dishonest to say so. That’s why she is going after Vance instead of Trump for doing the same exact thing. Just like she railed against Vance and not Trump when Trump announced a ceasefire with Iran.
When Vivek Ramaswamy put out his disgusting ad, many Republicans denounced it, thankfully proving themselves unwilling to roll around in the mud with him. But not everyone! VP Vance was more disgusted with his principled colleagues than with using the rape of a child for political gain. President Trump too defended the ad, calling it brave. He is wrong. It is debased to defend it. There just has to be a level beneath which we are not willing to sink.

This is the tweet that puts Vivek over the top
I have bad news for everyone prattling on about Vivek Ramaswamy being Indian. He isn't. Vivek is a Natural-Born American of Indian Extraction. Feel free to cry about it. I'm sorry the Constitution happened to you.

If you remove 9/11, you can argue this is most important photograph and defining moment of the 21st century so far.

Max Engling is the only choice for Indiana Secretary of State! Far-left extremist Beau Bayh worked in the Biden White House, shares donors with Socialist mayor Mamdani and the squad, and is bankrolled by millions from the Far Left including Illinois Governor JB Pritzker. He is a Trojan horse for radical Democrats to destroy election integrity and launch a takeover of Indiana. Max Engling represents the next generation of Republican leadership. He is the only candidate running to protect the integrity of Indiana's elections, require individuals to provide photo identification when they vote, and ensure American elections are for American citizens. He has my complete and total endorsement.

This is what $40 trillion in debt, forever wars, open borders, woke bureaucracy, and offshoring of our jobs and industries looks like. In other words, substantial failure.
Certain people love posting the Young Guns cover, now they can post this. October 2007: Three backbench Members of Congress take the photo, launch the brand, and build momentum. Two Speakers. One VP Nominee; Chairman of Ways and Means. Two Majority Leaders. Two Whips. Largest landslide election win since 1946. Not bad for three rank-and-file Members. #DealWithIt

There it is. Said it for months. The Reagan faction of the GOP sees midterms as their opportunity to take back the reins of the party. They just don’t understand that those days are gone. That country is gone. They destroyed it with their economic and immigration policies.
“There is an entire MAGA industrial complex that has risen up in the Trump era that thinks it has permanently won arguments, when it has really just drafted behind Trump and Trumpism. They’ve pushed through open doors and doors knocked off their hinges by Trump, and think they’ve won an intellectual argument. But the midterms look poised to deal a massive blow to that, in part because their arguments for protectionism, industrial policy, and mass deportation have not yielded anything like the “golden age” that was promised. I find the idea that these guys—the self-styled intellectuals, the jabroni remora apparatchiks, and the get-rich-while-the-getting-is-good grifters, alike—will be well situated to win arguments on the right or anywhere else in the post-Trump era very implausible. Because the record of their tenure, in terms of policy and politics, won’t look like a golden age to anybody.” - @JonahDispatch

“Indiana fans are new to tailgating” is probably one of the worst takes of all time lol
This was so cold blooded of the camera man 😂. By the way, been to a lot of college football stadiums. I have never seen so many brand new tents, grills RV’s, truck wraps and gear as I did at Indiana. It’s like they put as order in for “the college fanbase starter kit”

FAITH DOESN’T STOP AT THE CHURCH DOORS! (Election Ballot Recommendations) 🇺🇸 As a pastor here in Hamilton County, I believe the Church has a responsibility to help our communities think biblically about the issues and individuals who shape our government. Our faith should inform every area of our lives, including how we approach the ballot box. Scripture tells us, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” - Proverbs 29:2 I believe pastors should never be afraid to speak biblical truth about righteousness, justice, the sanctity of life, religious liberty, and the God-given rights our government was established to protect. The pulpit should never become a place of partisan control, but neither should it become a place of silence when biblical principles are at stake. I’ve put together my 2026 CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENT list and BALLOT QUESTIONS to share my personal perspective on the upcoming election. These are individuals I’ve come to know through personal relationships, conversations, and experience. This list is not exhaustive, and someone not appearing on it should never be interpreted as a judgment against their character or qualifications. I encourage every Hoosier to examine the candidates, study their records, seek wisdom through prayer, and make an informed decision. Our responsibility as Christians doesn’t end with preaching about what is good, right, and true. We are also called to live out those convictions in the public square. God bless Hamilton County, and God bless Indiana! 🇺🇸 #FaithAndFreedom #HamiltonCounty #Indiana #BiblicalWorldview #Election2026

DOJ line attorneys increasingly do not sign briefs because of Dem law fare. Dems have and continue to go after the bar licenses of young DOJ line attorneys who are simply executing on behalf of the department. It's disgusting. But I'm sure Elissa Slotkin is proud.
Replying to @kyledcheney
REYES' pointed start homes in on a phenomenon that has been common in Trump's second term: on high-profile, controversial filings, line attorneys have often not signed, leaving it to senior political appointees.

To add to the point of the thread, consider how the clergy invariably respond to disorder today. They say people shouldn't cause mayhem and loot, sure, but the state is always supposed to respond to the people's "legitimate grievances", etc.
1789-1939, the Church often sided with those who used force to enforce order. Since 1945, force against even unruly civilians is viewed as a violation of their dignity and rights. Now we struggle to say what a state can do to enforce order at all. A new recalibration is needed.
