Adnan Hussain won Blackburn by 132 votes.
That is the whole man. One hundred and thirty-two. He overturned an 18,000 Labour majority with it, and his first words were "this is for Gaza". Not for Blackburn. For Gaza.
Now he is outraged that Israel held two British MPs at a border for eight hours and sent them home. He calls Israel a "rogue state". He wants the government to condemn it "in the strongest possible terms".
Fine. Let us test him on Israel.
In 2014 he stood at a rally and said "let's make Israel burn". In 2024 he said there is "no difference" between the Israeli government and ISIS. ISIS, who behead captives and throw men off rooftops, are, on his reading, the same as the country with a supreme court, an Arab party in its parliament and a free press. No difference. Not one.
He calls it a genocide. Plenty do. But he says the word so often, and so loudly, that it has stopped describing anything and started meaning simply "Israel, bad".
And rogue state. Israel. Rogue. Rogue like Iran, then. Iran, who runs terror plots on British soil, whose Revolutionary Guard owns the smuggling routes that land its operatives on our beaches, and who has spent forty years killing people through proxies in other people's capitals. That rogue state. Adnan mentions it about as often as he mentions the weather.
Here is the actual problem with Adnan Hussain. He is not an MP with a constituency. He is a mood. A feeling that swept Blackburn for one summer, when Gaza was on every screen and Labour was on the wrong side of it. He caught the wave. 132 votes, and off he went.
And a wave is not a base. There is no machine, no record, no Blackburn in his politics. Just Gaza. Blackburn is one of the most deprived boroughs in the country. It needs houses, skills, a town centre worth walking into. It got a Palestine plan.
So when Gaza slides off the screens, and when this government finally falls, Adnan goes with it. He has nothing to be once the thing he is against is gone. He is a cheerleader for a team that is not his.
He is not the future of Blackburn. He is the tide mark. A line on the wall showing how high the water reached in July 2024.
And the water is going out.

โIโve spoken to Nigel, and he made it clear to me that he thinks it wasnโt clever or funny, and I accept thatโ.
Another day, another Reform outrider is distanced by Nigel.
One day youโre doubling down on calling Kemi a โNigerian scammerโ, the next youโre giving grovelling quotes to The Times after a humiliating slap down from Nigel Farage following yet another chastening interview.
Farewell Raheem Kassam, we hardly knew ye.

Because unlike you, Reformers believe in free speech. Reformers don't believe in guilt by association. Reformers don't believe in struggle sessions.
You've just, once again, revealed what a sniveling little Lib Dem petty communist you are. Another scammer.

Higher inflation.
Higher energy bills.

It actually scares me that a Prime Minister can be this ignorant. Well done Shabana for getting it right! Under the two way Dublin agreement we were net recipients of asylum seekers. Numerically, we didn't return anyone.

So..... it isn't a white European settler colonial project then?

The Ottomans adopted that flag in 1844. The Palestinians adopted their flag in 1964. Now go look up the looting of Safed in 1834, a pogrom against Jews by Arabs just because they were Jews. Then realise you are just about the stupidest person on the planet!

Ihab you clown. They have been denied their rights by Mahmood Abbas, who has, for the 16th year running, cancelled the Palestinian elections.

They can't vote in THEIR elections because THEIR government, run by Mahmood Abbas, for the 16th year running, is not holding elections. This failure is NOTHING TO DO WITH ISRAEL!

Put the giant gherkin down and stop treating taxpayers like fools.

Erm... Palestinians vote under the Palestinian Authority. Or at least they would if Mahmood Abbas hadn't cancelled them every year for the last 16 years. That is hardly Israel's fault is it?

They got a boost off the local elections in May 2025, when Kemi was barely behind her desk and Starmer was U Trung all over the place. They rode that through the autumn and then committed suicide in January 2026 with Jenrick and Braverman, who proved to be toxic, and still are.
