This pisses me off. Escaping 9-5? I would KILL for 9-5! 6-2 is hell because I have to wake up at 5, and I'm working on the weekends - yeah, even sundays, so I can never go out to singles events. Each time the end of my shift comes up I am worried that my relief won't show up on time. I get paid so LITTLE per hour, that I almost have to accept overtime. They WILL guilt trip me if I can't come in on my day off. How DARE you advocate for eliminating jobs that many people aspire to?

I’m trying to be more open to hearing God talk to me. I keep waking up at 12:46 the last two nights so I entered the numbers into Google. This is the verse that popped up.

If you have a story on A03, provided it follows the core telos of Malfoid (She is a girl, Draco never existed, the yearning is monogamous, and it is not explicit) then please dm it or reply to this and I will put together a collection. 1/

Every time women conquer a previously male industry, they destroy it, particularly for men. Men must compete against other men to gain status. Such industries are becoming increasingly few. And as a woman, I also really hate female-run publishing. I enjoy both male and female authors, but there are so few good male authors publishing now.
Is the "boys don't read" problem a matter of supply or demand? More than 70 percent of staff at America's Big Five publishers are women, as are more than 70 percent of editors and a majority of executives. Adam Szetela argues this is the single biggest transformation in the history of American publishing, and that an industry recruiting almost entirely from elite universities has narrowed what reaches the shelves. quillette.com/2026/10/23/why…

Ideas are worth more than skill.
I know thr pro-AI crowd isn't going to like this but if you do not put in the time and effort it takes to learn an artistic skill (draw, paint, animated, write, music) you do NOT deserve to make it, simple as that. It is a human skill that people dedicate their lives to.

The Slytherin common room was unusually quiet when Pansy finally found Dracaena. Pansy: Ah, Dracaena! Vincent found out who pranked Harry! Dracaena: Who? Her voice was gentle. Almost sweet. But her eyes were cold. Pansy: Well... it's someone from our own house. Dracaena: ... Pansy: I'll bring him here, okay? She slowly turned toward the doorway. Dracaena: So it was you. Alex: Wait, wait! What the heck is this?! Dracaena stepped forward. Dracaena: You hurt him. Alex: Well, yeah! The golden boy thinks he's invincible! Hahahaha! I made him bleed a little. What's the problem? Do you love him or something? Dracaena said nothing. Alex: What? Is he going to sleep on your lap and kiss you? Hahahaha! He leaned against the wall, enjoying himself. Alex: Oh, guess what? I'm going to hurt him even more! Maybe I'll make him fall to his death. Or perhaps I'll give him a love potion and make him fall in love with some girl! Hahahahaha! Now THAT would be funny! His laughter gradually faded. Dracaena was staring at him. There was no embarrassment on her face. No jealousy. No familiar irritation. Only a cold, murderous hatred. Alex: Hahaha... ha... He took a step backward. Alex: Uh... I'm sorry? Dracaena: Crucio. Alex: AAAAAAAAAARGH! He collapsed to the floor, screaming as Dracaena held her wand steady. Alex: WAIT! WAIT! PLEASE! IT WAS JUST A JOKE! Dracaena: Crucio. Alex: AAAAAAAARGH! STOP! STOP! PLEASE! Dracaena: A joke? Her voice trembled with anger. Dracaena: You made him bleed, laughed about it, and then threatened to kill him. And you have the audacity to call it a joke? Alex: I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! I'LL LEAVE HIM ALONE FOREVER! I SWEAR! Dracaena lowered her wand slightly. Dracaena: Listen to me carefully, Alex. She crouched beside him, her expression terrifyingly calm. Dracaena: I know exactly what kind of person you are. So if you go anywhere near Harry, even one inch closer than you should... She leaned toward his ear. Dracaena: I'll kill you. And this time, I won't stop at a warning. Alex: Y-YES! YES! I'M SORRY! I WON'T GO NEAR HIM AGAIN! Dracaena stood up. Vincent: Uh... Dracaena slowly turned her head. Dracaena: Let him go, Vincent. Vincent: Right. Dracaena: And if he tries anything funny again, break his neck. Vincent: I... I don't think— Dracaena: What? Vincent: Ah! Yes! I'll make sure he stays away! Alex scrambled to his feet and stumbled toward the exit. Alex: AAAAAH! I'M GETTING OUT OF HERE! The door slammed behind him. Pansy stared at Dracaena in stunned silence. Pansy: Dracaena... are you okay? Dracaena took a slow breath. Her expression softened just a little. Dracaena: Yes. Now leave me. I have something to attend to. Pansy exchanged a worried glance with Vincent before leaving. Dracaena walked through the corridors until she finally found Harry sitting alone, still nursing the small wound left by the prank. The moment she saw the blood, her expression darkened again. Dracaena: Seriously, Potter? You're still bleeding after all that? Harry: Oh, hello, Malfoy. It's not that bad. Dracaena: Not that bad? You're bleeding! She immediately pulled a small bottle from her bag. Dracaena: Here. Take this. It's my family's medicine. It should help. Harry: Really? Thanks, Malfoy. That's very kind of you. He accepted the bottle and gave her a grateful smile. Harry: I appreciate it. Dracaena looked away, her cheeks warming slightly. Dracaena: Hmph. Don't misunderstand. I simply don't want you wandering around Hogwarts looking like an injured troll. Harry: Hahaha! Fair enough. He drank the medicine. Dracaena watched him carefully, making sure he was alright. Dracaena, internally: Of course I'll help you, Harry. You're the person I care about most in this world. No one gets to hurt you. No one gets to make you suffer. And no one will ever take you away from me. rry. And behind her gentle smile, Dracaena had already decided that anyone who tried to hurt him die

Alrighty, the character you guys were probably waiting for with this Magic Academy setting lol, my Malfoid-esque character, Cassandra Lysander! Character Summary: The eldest child and daughter of the waning Lysander family, Cassandra is her bloodline’s greatest hope at regaining their former glory. The union of her father, an Aspect of Water, and her mother, an Aspect of Lightning, and a supreme stroke of luck has granted Cassandra the abilities of both, making her an anomaly among anomalies. Where this is a boon in many places, it also serves as a bane, making it harder to control both elements. While she possesses some control of water and ice thanks to her father’s instructions, she has been without a teacher for her lightning magic due to the disappearance of her mother when she was a child. Beyond keeping that ability mostly under restraint, her skills with lightning remain lacking, no matter how hard she tries. This, along with the significant pressure of restoring her family’s reputation in the magical world, has instilled Cassandra with an immense pride in her bloodline and sense of duty to defend its honor. She retains a cold, curt demeanor with most people, keeping them at a distance not only because she does not wish to make unwanted ties, but also because her nature as an Aspect, of two elements, no less, often causes her to freeze or shock people who touch her. A trait common to most Aspects still developing their abilities, but one that she especially has had a hard time controlling due to both elements being unstable within her. Her relationship with her father is best described as professional, as he is frequently away on business or some errand to build or maintain connections. This divide was furthered when her father took a new wife years after Cassandra’s mother disappeared. She and her step-mother, while they do not hate one another, rarely interact, but the same cannot be said of her half-brother. The boy, only ten years of age, has clung to her side since he was old enough to crawl, uncaring of their differences and forming one of the few “chinks” in her armor due to his persistence. The other belongs to her personal maid, who has been with her since she was a baby and has been her mentor/mother figure since her own mother’s disappearance. Her acceptance into the Yggradsil Academy of the Magic was all but guaranteed from birth, but as she arrives onto the campus, only one goal sticks out most in her mind: to protect her family’s honor, and to make them rise beyond the heights they held before. Appearance: 5’7 Lithe and athletic figure Platinum blonde hair Frost blue eyes with flecks of purple (“As if a sapphire and amethyst collided and forged themselves anew with the fragments) A cold look about her, keeps people at a distance Signature Equipment: A silver needle hairpin with a snowflake on it and a sapphire set at the center gifted to her by her personal maid. A bracelet fixed with amethysts and sapphires, gifted to her by her father A pair of white silk gloves, enchanted to dampen the magic in her hands so she can touch things A locket with a faded picture of her mother inside. Inspirations: My version of Draceana Malfoy (Malfoid) Eowyn Jill Warrick Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca

I think Malfoid has peaked, but thats ok. The first jubilant emotional rush has run its course and now we settle into a sustainable pace. One that gives us the mental capacity to seek what else to Yearn and what next will fuel the Yearn.

A friend of mine was never allowed to celebrate as a kid. I always felt bad for her. It’s one of her favorite holidays, now. It feels like a weird thing to treat as evil. I don’t get why some Christians go out of their way to give cool stuff to the enemy. It’s like when leftists crap on America and burn the flag then get upset that patriotism is a right wing thing. Like brother, they didn’t take that from you. You have it up for no reason.

Made a patreon. I'm not very confident in my drawing and storyboarding skills, but I always wanted to draw manga/comics. And I thought, why not now? So now I want to try and adapt at least parts of books with Malfoid interactions into manga/comic format with some other small tweaks. And if it all goes well, who knows... Meanwhile, ofc I still will continue to do fanarts etc. That's all. Thank you for your support guys, I will never forget this joyfull times.

American Wand Shops would be inside gun stores, you just tell them a passcode and they make you walk through some magical wall in the back to see their arsenal
