through co-authoring this book, I've come to realize that there is almost always someone achieving enormous success in doing something that you think is impossible. - George Coyle @gfc4 141/n lnk.to/marketwizardsnextgene…

For anyone unfamiliar, this Beardo post is your sign to consider buying a bunch of $GOOG, maybe DCA for a while until the pop. Not financial advice. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You will lose all your money. Don’t invest.
Parabolic moves usually happen in three phases. $GOOGL has been following this curve since the 2022 lows. The third and final stage is often the most explosive.

There is so much going on in the world and in our lives. If you make this prayer part of your daily prayer life your life will change and so will your part of the world. Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.  O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive,  it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,  and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen. Take care of each other.

anyways. back to trading. there are so few things I can't control in this work every day. We talk about and do the work on the things we CAN control every week. If you want to support that, all you gotta do is tune in and be a part of the conversation. and if you're feeling really generous, give @vibestraders a follow.

Weekly Market Recap $SPX chart below Some people say the selling has become too frantic, the bearishness too extreme, and that we're due for a rebound, if not a resumption of the ever-higher race to infinity. Yet looking at the weekly $SPX chart, one barely notices the selling. The index finished around 7620, with 7600-ish support still standing. Apparently, the weekly chart hasn't been reading the headlines. The pain in parts of the AI trade is real. So far, though, the so-called AI panic remains fairly circumscribed. The Dow and Russell 2000 actually finished the week higher. So is this a bout of nervousness that could subside, perhaps if Anthropic goes ahead with its IPO without a glitch? Or are we in the early innings of a broader, bona fide correction? An orderly IPO could reassure investors that the AI story remains financeable. Whether the returns ultimately justify the spending is a separate question. More immediately, next week's results from Microsoft, Alphabet and Amazon should give us something substantial to chew on. Their spending plans, guidance and, especially, the market's reaction will matter. Good numbers that fail to lift stocks (see $META) would hardly support the argument that the selling has exhausted itself. Technically, $SPX remains below its fast weekly MA but comfortably above its rising 50-week SMA. The shorter-term picture has weakened; the longer-term uptrend remains intact. 7600-ish is still the line. Holding it keeps the consolidation scenario alive. A weekly close below it brings 7400-ish into play. Reclaiming 7800-ish would strengthen the case for a resumption toward 8000-ish. For now, the panic remains louder than the weekly chart. That can change in a New York minute. Or a Silicon Valley nanosecond. Thanks for reading. 🙏🙏👊🍻

the best thing about being bored on a sat night is that I can play COD, and in the background choose violence and get claude to trawl every vibecoded AI trading service, build dossiers linking fraudulent claims, and submit details to the FTC without even pausing the game

Degen trading is good. Trading is zero sum. Somebody is losing. We need more to keep this volatility train going. It's like shoveling coal into the boilers in the bowels of the Titanic.

this isn't a dig on props, either they've got a business to run and the rules are there to make it sustainable for them, totally get it unfortunately, those rules create a funky dynamic that doesn't work for my fragile psychology
