One of my favorite pics of election night was with retired Chancery Judge Dorothy Colom. Judge Colom is not only the mother to @scott_colom and @andrewcolom, she was her district’s first African American Chancery Judge. Now, her son is headed to the U. S. Senate.

The Hispanic shift left is also absolutely crushing Republicans in California.
Becerra is likely to win by over 30 points, making this the largest Democratic gubernatorial win in California history (and blowing Newsom’s 2018 record out of the water).

I forgot about the Marist poll. Their RV sample was close in the Senate but even underestimated Pingree.
But then they screened it way down so they missed governor by 17 points!
Polling needs to really reckon with this. What's the difference between "legit" guys and Trafalgar?
Replying to @JohnRSamuelsen
Marist did this. But instead they made their LV screens so red. Just pathetic and should get them blacklisted. xitter.gq/polltracker2024/status…
Still vote counted but on their RV poll they overestimated Troy by 1 and under pingree by 5. With their LV? Under pingree by 17 Troy by 5.

In case you think Scott is joking, these are all things Republicans have actually talked about doing. ⬇️

CHS was a lifelong Democrat until Barack Obama became president, when she became "extremely concerned" about the "political landscape" and switched parties.
Before her 11-year tenure as a Democratic state legislator, CHS was a lobbyist who advocated for universal healthcare.

New England to Have No Republican Senators for First Time Since GOP Founding After Collins Loss
Susan Collins’ defeat in Maine’s 2026 Senate race means the region will have zero GOP senators starting in 2027 — a first since the Republican Party’s establishment in 1854.

This is a real bummer.
Democratic state Rep. Justin J. Pearson conceded the race to represent Tennessee’s 9th Congressional District Wednesday after coming in roughly 1.1% behind his Republican opponent.

Ossoff is such a good debater that I’d bet the GOP nominee in 2028 would strongly consider just skipping the debates.
Rubio might give it a shot, but Vance would be so cooked trying to defend Trump’s record on that stage.
Mike Collins was so cooked during those Georgia senate debates that I started to feel bad for him. He was in hell. Lmao

While we Mississippians are helping y’all pronounce things. @scott_colom’s last name is pronounced CA-LOMÉ. Think “cologne” if it had an “m” rather than an “n” in it. Please stop with “column” stuff. Thank you for your attention to this matter. 😊
