Building the app is only half the battle. Getting people to download it is a whole different game. Your App Store screenshots matter more than you think.

🚀 Excited to share what I’ve been building for RevenueCat Shipaton 2026 — CoinCopilot, an AI-powered crypto paper trading and learning app. The idea was inspired by the clean, data-driven experience of @Revolut, but with a different goal: helping people explore crypto markets, practice strategies, and learn without risking real money. With CoinCopilot, users can: 📊 Explore thousands of cryptocurrencies and market data 💰 Create virtual portfolios and simulate trades 📈 Track portfolio performance and allocation 🤖 Use AI Insights to review performance, concentration, and potential risks 🔔 Set price and portfolio alerts 🌍 Track portfolios using different reference currencies The stack behind it: ⚛️ @expo + @reactnative — mobile app 🗄️ @supabase — backend, database and authentication 📊 @coinranking API — crypto market data 🤖 @OpenAI — AI-powered portfolio insights 💳 @RevenueCat — subscriptions and in-app purchases A big thanks to @theapplaunchpad for helping me create the App Store screenshots quickly — it saved a lot of design time during the final Shipaton push. 🙌 Building this for Shipaton has been a great excuse to take an idea from concept → design → development → subscriptions → store submission in a very short period of time. CoinCopilot is focused on learning through simulation — no real-money trading, just an environment to explore, experiment and understand crypto markets better. Now comes the slightly stressful part: waiting for the stores to approve it before the Shipaton deadline. 😅 Would love to hear your feedback on the concept and UI! #Shipaton2026 #RevenueCat #ReactNative #Expo #Supabase #OpenAI #Crypto #PaperTrading #MobileDevelopment #IndieDeveloper #BuildInPublic #Revolut

App Store + AppLaunchpad = 🚀🚀
I used to think good App Store screenshots were mostly about good design. Working on an AI Notes app changed my mind. The harder part was deciding what each screenshot should make the user understand in 2 seconds. “AI notes” is a feature. “Turn a messy meeting into clear action items” is a reason to install. So I built the screenshot sequence around the problems the app actually solved, rather than simply showing different parts of the interface. AppLaunchpad made the visual side much easier. I could drop my screens into 1,000+ templates, experiment with 3D devices and hand mockups, and add graphics from 10,000+ elements without rebuilding everything. The drag-and-drop editor made quick iterations simple. And when the messaging needed to change for different markets, localization saved me from recreating every version manually. The biggest takeaway for me: ASO screenshots shouldn't be a gallery of your UI. They should be a short sales pitch, one screenshot at a time. Don’t let your app look mediocre on the App Store.
Building the app is only half the battle. 🛠️ Making people actually want to download it is the other half. 📱 I learned this the hard way while preparing App Store screenshots for my app. Generic screenshots just don’t convert. Users scroll past them in seconds if they don’t immediately understand the value. 👀 That’s when I tried @theapplaunchpad. Instead of spending hours in design tools, I used their drag and drop editor with 1000+ templates, 3D devices, and hand mockups. Added clean captions, graphics from their 10,000+ element library, and had store ready screenshots in minutes. ⚡ The difference was clear. Better hierarchy, clearer messaging, and screenshots that actually support ASO. 📈 If you’re launching or refreshing your listing, this is worth checking out: theapplaunchpad.com/ Use code ALPX30 for 30% off. 💸 Give my app “Make It Soon” a try. If your App Store screenshots still look like raw exports, this is your sign. Your screenshots are your pitch. Make them count.
I build Binge, a TV shows & movie tracker, mostly solo — and I shipped it with raw simulator screenshots. Plain screens, no story. Then I looked at the top apps in my category and it hit me: their listings sold the app in three thumbnails. Mine looked like a bug report. For most people the screenshots are the app — it's the whole pitch, and I was leaking installs before anyone tapped "Get". Rebuilding six frames by hand — across device sizes, in Portuguese and English — was a weekend I didn't have. So I tried @AppLaunchpad, and honestly it did more than I expected: Instead of a blank artboard, I started from one of their 1,000+ templates — the hard design decision was basically made for me. The drag-and-drop editor let me move text, screens and icons around in seconds without ever opening Figma. The 3D device and hand mockups were the moment it clicked — my screens suddenly looked like a real phone someone's holding, not a flat export. I dressed the frames with their 10,000+ graphics and backgrounds, so nothing needed a stock-site detour. Then the part that actually saved my launch: localization. My English set generated from the same layout as the Portuguese one — no rebuild, no re-exporting each size by hand. Every App Store format came out spec-correct in one pass. An hour in, I had ASO-optimized screenshots that genuinely look like they convert — the kind that can lift installs 2–3X. Best money-for-time I've spent on the listing. If yours are still raw screens, fix that before you spend a cent on ads. 👉 theapplaunchpad.com — use code ALPX30 for 30% off. #ad #ASO #IndieDev

Creating App Store screenshots sounds simple until you actually have to make them. I was working on a travel booking app that I was preparing to launch on the App Store, and I needed screenshots that looked good, followed Apple’s guidelines, and clearly highlighted the app’s main features. Doing everything manually quickly became frustrating. I had to keep adjusting layouts, moving elements around, and creating different versions for devices and languages. That’s when I found AppLaunchpad. Instead of designing everything from scratch, I could start with 1,000+ ready-made templates and customize them with my own app screens. The drag-and-drop editor made it easy to change text, images, icons, and layouts. I also used the 3D device and hand mockups to make the screenshots feel more realistic. Normally, I’d have to create those compositions manually in Figma, position the device and hand, adjust everything, and repeat it for each screenshot. Here, I could do it much faster. The localization tools were especially useful while preparing the app for launch in other regions. Instead of spending hours manually creating and resizing different language versions in tools like Figma, I could handle the localization much more easily in one place. There are also 10,000+ graphics and elements for extra customization. What I liked most is that it removes a lot of the repetitive design work. I could spend less time fixing layouts and more time thinking about how to present the app properly on the App Store. If you're launching an app on the App Store and need better screenshots, give AppLaunchpad a try. 🔗 theapplaunchpad.com Use ALPX30 for 30% off your subscription. #AppDevelopment #AppDesign #ASO #MobileApps

I was creating App Store screenshots for a travel booking app I was preparing to launch on the App Store, and I quickly realized the screenshots needed to do more than just look good. Apple has specific guidelines for App Store screenshots, so I had to make sure everything fit the required formats while showing the search flow, flight options, booking experience, and key features. Doing that from scratch meant constantly moving elements around, rebuilding layouts, and creating different versions for different devices. Then I tried AppLaunchpad. The 1,000+ pre-built templates gave me a starting point instead of another blank canvas. I could pick a layout, drop in my app screens, and adapt it to the story I wanted to tell. The drag-and-drop editor made it easy to move text, screenshots, icons, and other elements around without switching to another design tool. I also used the 3D device and hand mockups to make the travel screens feel closer to a real App Store listing. With 10,000+ graphics and elements, I could add visual details without searching for assets elsewhere. And when I needed versions for different markets, the localization features made creating different language versions much easier. What stood out to me was how much of the repetitive design work AppLaunchpad takes off your plate. Instead of spending hours rebuilding layouts, I could focus more on how the screenshots actually communicate the value of the app. If you're struggling with creating App Store screenshots like I was, AppLaunchpad is worth trying. Launching an app is one thing. Making people understand its value from the first few App Store screenshots is a completely different challenge. Most developers already spend weeks building the product, fixing bugs, preparing the listing, and handling ASO. Then comes another task: creating screenshots that look professional, explain the key features clearly, fit every required size, and still stand out against competing apps. That is where AppLaunchpad helps. You can upload your raw screenshots, place them inside iPhone, Android, iPad, or tablet mockups, choose from ready-made templates, customise backgrounds, text, icons, illustrations, and layouts, then resize the designs for different App Store and Google Play requirements. It also helps you create localised screenshot versions, test different visual styles, generate app icons, and build polished promotional mockups without designing everything manually in Figma or Photoshop. For app developers who want better-looking, ASO-friendly store visuals without spending hours on design, AppLaunchpad makes the entire process much easier. Most developers build a great app, then lose 60% of potential downloads right on the App Store page. Why? Bad screenshots. I used to waste 10+ hours manually tweaking Figma layouts to fit Apple & Google Play store specs, only to get low tap-through rates. Then I tried AppLaunchpad, it turned a multi-day headache into a 15-minute visual overhaul. Your store visuals aren't just decorative; ASO-optimized screenshots are your app’s #1 conversion lever. If your visuals don't hook visitors in 3 seconds, they scroll past. Here is why AppLaunchpad is a game-changer for indie devs and product teams: 🎯 1,000+ ASO-Optimized Templates: Built specifically to convert casual browsers into active downloads. 📱 3D & Hand Device Mockups: High-impact, realistic frames that make your UI jump off the screen. ✨ 10,000+ Graphics & Elements: Complete design library paired with an intuitive Drag-and-Drop Editor. 🌍 One-Click Localization: Instantly translate store screenshots into dozens of languages to scale globally. See the custom visual I created using their editor! ↓📸 🎁 Use my code "ALX30" to get 30% off. Marketing secrets spilled by @rkant7
This is insane 🤯 This app makes $2M/mo and it’s literally an AI video generator built in 2025. You type a prompt or upload a photo and it creates viral AI videos in seconds. with people making dance edits, meme videos, and faceless TikTok content from their phone. If someone made a less paywall-heavy version of this and posted 100 tiktoks/day They would sweep this app

Day 4 of Building in Public Made screenshot for Drawly with @theapplaunchpad Its just so easy to make screenshots!
Day 3 of Building in Public I actually vibe code 95% of Drawly with @boltdotnew during the Pi day when they had the event going on! It all started from an idea of, what would my 2 year old son like to do on the plane when we fly for 12 hours in May?
