Welcome to Day 1 of my rookie spotlight series! Each day leading up to the NFL Draft, I’ll be breaking down one player you need to know — with a focus on what matters most for fantasy football. We’re kicking things off with an intriguing quarterback prospect who’s flying under the radar: 🏈 Rookie Spotlight: Jaxson Dart, QB – Ole Miss Jaxson Dart isn’t getting the same buzz as the top-tier QBs in this class, but he should be. The former USC transfer really found his groove at Ole Miss, capping off his college career with his best season yet: over 4,200 passing yards, 29 touchdowns, and just 6 picks — plus another 495 yards and 3 scores on the ground. He’s not a burner, but he moves well enough to matter in fantasy. In fact, he led all of FBS in total offense in 2024. What stands out about Dart is how much cleaner his game looked this past year. He made better decisions, protected the ball, and hit big throws under pressure. He also looked way more comfortable using his legs when needed, which is always a plus for fantasy. He’s not elite in any one area, but there’s a lot to like if he lands in a system that plays to his strengths. So far, the two teams most clearly linked to Dart are the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints. The Steelers brought him in for a pre-draft visit and may see him as a developmental option behind their short-term veterans. The Saints had head coach Kellen Moore attend Dart’s pro day — a strong signal of legit interest. Both spots could offer a chance to grow into a starting role within the next year or two, which makes Dart especially intriguing in dynasty and superflex formats. Fantasy Outlook: 📈 Dynasty: Solid long-term stash with QB2 upside 📈 Superflex: Mid-2nd round rookie pick — worth the swing ⏳ Redraft: Keep him on your radar, especially if he starts early 💬 Drop your Dart landing spot prediction or comp in the replies — I’ll shout out the best ones tomorrow. #FantasyFootball #NFLDraft2025 #RookieWatch How are you valuing Jaxson Dart in rookie drafts?
