“The country has had enough.”
Trump told me this morning that he has not spoken to Schumer or Jeffries since the election, but:
“I think we can get along. it's good for the country if we do. The country has had enough.”
He says he has spoken to other Democrats since the election:
“There are others - not them - but people, other democrats, who have been calling. I have friends over there."

Some White House advisers have pointed fingers at Hegseth, whom they blame for convincing Trump that the Iran war would be a short engagement similar to the successful capture of ousted Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, according to people familiar with the discussions.
Hegseth has frequently been the voice in the cabinet advocating to continue the war, often in opposition to Rubio, Vance and others who pushed for peace talks, some people said.

#Florida #Cuba: The fact that @MarioDB & @RepMariaSalazar barely held on is a testament to how mad Cuban-American voters are & how much that community has changed: you can’t just continue playing the “communist” boogeyman. Younger Cubans understand the “Cuba” issue differently. They want a rational policy that engages with reformers on the island (they do exist) instead of threatening military action. They understand squeezing until the regime surrenders is a losing proposition and one that brings misery to their families on the island.
And finally, when gas prices go up, housing in #Miami is unaffordable, ICE is harassing your abuelita or deporting your cousin or friend, talking tough about #Cuba or indicting a 95-year-old just for just for show will not cut it anymore!!! @BrazilBrian @ChrisSabatini @Jose_deCordoba @ArriojaJoseE @benjamingedan @WillGFreeman @RandyPestana @BrianPFonseca @FrankMora_FIU

"Legalize everyone living in America illegally." Not everyone. But if you're working hard and living peacefully, Americans want to find a way for you to stay here. If Republicans were wise, they'd accept a permanent status without citizenship or welfare.
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

If the same strategy continues to be implemented, the next elections could bring an even bigger blue tsunami. It’s time to reflect, reassess, and seriously reconsider the current immigration policies.

Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY) says he will not reintroduce articles of impeachment against Secretary of War Pete Hegseth if Hegseth resigns.
In September, Massie introduced eight articles accusing Hegseth of waging the war on Iran without congressional approval, violating the War Powers Resolution and laws meant to limit civilian casualties, and ordering extrajudicial killings in counternarcotics strikes.
The House recessed early in September before a vote. Massie, who lost his primary and leaves Congress in January, has said he will bring the articles back when the House reconvenes in a 'lame duck' session on November 9th.
Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY) told CNN he plans to trigger a House vote to impeach Secretary of War Pete Hegseth when Congress returns next week, and multiple GOP sources said they expect it to pass.
Massie introduced the resolution September 15th as a privileged measure, but House leaders sent members home early before a vote could happen. The House is scheduled to return November 9th.
Republican lawmakers and allies are also moving to blame Hegseth for the party’s midterm losses, CNN reports, citing multiple Republicans who spoke anonymously. They argue he oversold the ability to win the Iran war quickly and kept advocating escalation despite little sign Iran is closer to surrender.
President Donald J. Trump said Wednesday he thinks Secretary Hegseth is “doing a very good job” and denied plans to fire him. Of the war he said, “If I had it to do again, I’d have to do it again.” Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said Hegseth “will not back down” and is “100% committed to leading the Department until the end of President Trump’s term.”

🚨BREAKING🚨
Republican Thomas Massie will initiate impeachment proceedings against United States Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
With Democrats controlling the House, Hegseth is all but certain to be impeached.
To be clear on what happened here:
Miami-Dade was reporting 48,822 votes for Locklin. At some point during the night, this changed to 46,629. This was caught and updated. As for why, I'm not sure, my guess is a data input error from the county. Our vote count reflects this total.

EXCLUSIVE: A meeting Wednesday morning at the White House was aimed at aligning the admin on post-midterm messaging. But after the huddle, Vice President JD Vance sent out an X post breaking with Trump on foreign policy.
Vance is seeking a new alliance with disaffected Trump voters after crushing midterm losses, a source told Fox News Digital.
He is aiming messaging to the "new right," which includes changing the nature of America's relationship with Israel.
