DISTURBING: Be Careful Who You Call a Friend.
On February 14, Roselyn Ashanti Mchuna, fondly known as Chunna by her family and friends, woke up excited to celebrate her birthday. At the time, she was reportedly running several Airbnb businesses across different towns.
To mark the special occasion, she hosted a lavish birthday party, surrounded by people she believed were her friends.
Tragically, what should have been a joyful celebration allegedly turned into a nightmare. According to reports, Chunna collapsed during the party and was rushed to hospital. Doctors treating her reportedly suspected poisoning.
She reportedly suffered 50% brain damage and spent months in the ICU. Today, she is said to be unable to speak, walk, see or eat independently and is under the care of her mother.
The family reportedly filed a case of attempted murder, but claims that no one was ever arrested or summoned in connection with the matter.
A heartbreaking story that raises serious questions about justice, accountability and the importance of investigating such allegations thoroughly.
May Chunna find strength and healing, and may her family find the answers they deserve.
