This is not Cape Town CBD, it’s not Cairo CBD, it’s not Nairobi CBD. This is Kigali. Rwanda 🇷🇼. 32 years ago, these streets were empty, covered in blood and lifeless bodies of innocent people. Kigali was dead and the world ignored it. PK, receive your flowers 🌹 while alive.

This is enough to make anyone go crazy! STOP SENDING MONEY TO RELATIVES TO BUILD FOR YOU. UNA NO DEY EVER LEARN!
" I live in the US. I just arrived in Nigeria and asked my family to show me the house I have been sending them money to build, and they said it was still under development. I said, Okay, no problem. Then they said they wanted to take me somewhere for prayers before I return. I didn't think anything of it, so I followed them. We got to an Alfa's place—me thinking he wanted to pray for me. Suddenly, he pushed me inside a room. I saw some people there who had been there for 6 months to 1 year. Their living conditions are very terrible. I was like, What am I doing here? It has been 17 days now. They said they put me here because I smoke cigarettes. Inside the Bible, there is no part against cigarettes. I am not a drunkard. Look at the way I look now—like I am homeless. I am not insane. I have been abroad for 23 years in total." — A Nigerian man, Bayo Salami

This is the reason I'm an Atheist. God only favours bad governance and bad people. "By the grace of God", they're coming back.

Education is FREE in Germany though. They also don't have the amount of mineral and human resources that we do.
When I first arrived in the United States as a young man, I drove a taxi to earn money for my education. I even had to postpone starting school for several months to save enough. When I eventually got to Chicago, I worked different jobs to support myself and pay my way through university. I know what it means to worry about tuition, accommodation and how to make ends meet while pursuing an education. Those experiences have stayed with me. I know what education made possible in my own life, and I believe every Nigerian child deserves that same opportunity, regardless of where they are born or what their parents can afford. This is one reason education remains a major priority of our Renewed Hope administration. Through NELFUND, we have provided over ₦372 billion in student loans for institutional fees and upkeep, helping young Nigerians remain in school and pursue their education. Our technical and vocational education programme has attracted over 2.8 million applications. We have rehabilitated 38 technical colleges, while students in federal and selected state technical colleges now benefit from free school fees, boarding, textbooks and uniforms. We have reached a new agreement with ASUU, providing for a 40% increase in academic staff remuneration and measures to improve stability in our universities. A four-year course must take four years. Our young people deserve to complete their education on time and get on with their lives. Promise made, Promise Kept In medical education, we are investing ₦110 billion in rehabilitating 24 medical schools. Annual nursing enrolment has increased from 28,000 to 115,000, while medical and dental enrolment has risen from 5,000 to 12,000. Nigeria needs more doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals, and we must build the capacity to train them here at home. Over one million children who were previously out of school have been returned to learning. We are investing in teacher development, expanding educational opportunities for girls, and implementing a new national curriculum that restores Nigerian History to our classrooms. Our children must know where we have come from, understand the country they belong to, and be prepared to take responsibility for its future. I commend the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa @DrTunjiAlausa, the Minister of State, Professor Suwaiba Sa’id Ahmad @Suwaiba_Said, and the entire education team @NigEducation for their dedication to this important work. I am particularly pleased that the team has developed an interactive A–Z of the Nigeria Education Sector Renewal Initiative (NESRI), bringing together the reforms, programmes, achievements and opportunities across our education system. I invite every Nigerian to visit edu4pbat.ng and explore the A–Z of NESRI. If you are a parent, find out what opportunities are available for your children. If you are a student, explore the programmes you can benefit from. If you are a teacher, see what support is available. And if something is not working as it should in your community, I want to hear about it. Your feedback will help us identify problems and address them. Our journey from reform to opportunities and shared prosperity must begin with education. The circumstances of a child’s birth should never determine the limits of their ambition. Our responsibility is to give every Nigerian child a fair chance to fulfil their potential. We have more work to do, and I am determined to see it through. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President

I don't see you advocating for the Christians that are constantly killed in Nigeria, or against the bad governance in Nigeria. If you like, don't go and get a proper job. Okpo ngajị.

I remember dating a man who was very well-employed and earned over a million francs monthly. At the time, I was unemployed and surviving on my little business. I was never the type to ask for money, allowances or anything. I was just a quiet, simple girl trying to survive. We had an issue and stopped talking, but he kept insisting that we meet. I lived in another town and was so broke that I couldn’t afford transportation to see him. I didn’t want to ask him for transport money either. Two weeks later, he reached out again. I told him about an important event I desperately needed to attend. He asked, “If the event is that important, why don’t you come and see me first?” I insisted that the event was important, and he sent me an Express Exchange message saying he had transferred money to me. I took the last 500 francs I had, paid 300 francs for a bike to Half Mile and went to cash out. Only for them to tell me the code was incorrect. I immediately went to a call box, paid 100 francs to call him and explain what had happened. The moment he realised it was me, he laughed and hung up. I had to trek all the way back home. Ladies, please, work hard. Build something for yourself. Make your own money. Financial independence is not just about luxury, soft life or buying nice things. Sometimes, it is about having the dignity to walk away, the freedom to make your own decisions and never having to beg someone for basic consideration. The amount of cruelty I experienced simply because I had no money is something I will never forget.
Please as a Lady have your own money. Find a way to make money. Find a means to have to do no matter how small. It’s very important

Dear Nigerians, You cannot solar-panel your way to national development. This is just another version of the “I better pass my neighbour” generator era that ends up lining the pockets of capitalists. We went from buying fuel to escape darkness to buying panels to escape darkness. At what point do we stop adapting to dysfunction and start demanding a functioning country?
