This is not Cape Town CBD, it’s not Cairo CBD, it’s not Nairobi CBD.
This is Kigali. Rwanda 🇷🇼.
32 years ago, these streets were empty, covered in blood and lifeless bodies of innocent people. Kigali was dead and the world ignored it.
PK, receive your flowers 🌹 while alive.

Thank you my brother President @HHichilema. This is a milestone for Rwanda and for Africa, and we look forward to working with you and our African brothers and sisters to make the African Grand Prix a success for the entire continent.

Please, I've got cookies in my shop that's close to expiration so I've put them for sale at 50% discount
I've already lost two cartons to the same issue, there's been no sales
If you're in port Harcourt I'd really appreciate if you patronise me
They cost 3600 but now 1800 🙏

Ode oshi. Not all the way from Ibadan.
Meanwhile, Mamdani has done more for the city of NY in one year than your Christian mayors did in 20yrs. Sit with that.

In Nigeria, a 26 year old woman, Mary Habila was found naked and dead on the floor of the Minister of works @DaveUmahi house.
No investigations happened and he said the President told him to “carry on.”

I remember dating a man who was very well-employed and earned over a million francs monthly. At the time, I was unemployed and surviving on my little business. I was never the type to ask for money, allowances or anything. I was just a quiet, simple girl trying to survive.
We had an issue and stopped talking, but he kept insisting that we meet. I lived in another town and was so broke that I couldn’t afford transportation to see him. I didn’t want to ask him for transport money either.
Two weeks later, he reached out again. I told him about an important event I desperately needed to attend. He asked, “If the event is that important, why don’t you come and see me first?”
I insisted that the event was important, and he sent me an Express Exchange message saying he had transferred money to me.
I took the last 500 francs I had, paid 300 francs for a bike to Half Mile and went to cash out. Only for them to tell me the code was incorrect.
I immediately went to a call box, paid 100 francs to call him and explain what had happened. The moment he realised it was me, he laughed and hung up.
I had to trek all the way back home.
Ladies, please, work hard. Build something for yourself. Make your own money. Financial independence is not just about luxury, soft life or buying nice things. Sometimes, it is about having the dignity to walk away, the freedom to make your own decisions and never having to beg someone for basic consideration.
The amount of cruelty I experienced simply because I had no money is something I will never forget.

Igbo Men are now creating female accounts to act like pick mes.
The Man behind this account @ella__78_ is the same man behind Onyinye Catfish account. i know some of you are already in his dm sending him money and gushing.
The lady behind this picture is a Burundi girl she is not Igbo or a Nigerian. Beware!!!!!!!!!!

The most frustrating parts of democracy: An informed vote and an uninformed vote carry exactly the same weight. 😔

Dear Nigerians,
You cannot solar-panel your way to national development.
This is just another version of the “I better pass my neighbour” generator era that ends up lining the pockets of capitalists.
We went from buying fuel to escape darkness to buying panels to escape darkness.
At what point do we stop adapting to dysfunction and start demanding a functioning country?

Hello @JumiaNigeria, I am formally challenging your decision to cancel Order No. 1389655826.
You published a voucher code on your official X account, invited customers to use it, and your platform accepted it.
I successfully completed checkout, received an order confirmation and my order was marked "Waiting to be Shipped.
You subsequently deleted the promotional tweet and cancelled my order without providing any explanation.
I did not manipulate your platform, manufacture a voucher or violate any promotional conditions communicated to customers.
I simply used a promotion published by your verified account which you made a prior notification.
This raises serious concerns about fair trading practices and consumer protection under Sections 123, 124 and 128 of Nigeria's Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.
I have preserved the evidence, including the original promotional link, screenshots, order confirmation and cancellation notification.
I am demanding an explanation, reinstatement and fulfilment of my order.
I am also escalating this matter to the @fccpcnigeria and reserve my right to pursue appropriate legal remedies.
Being a longstanding customer who has spent nearly ₦2 million on your platform, this treatment is particularly disappointing.
I expect a proper response, not an automated apology.
