I use this test. Feminists who support Hamas, musicians who support Hamas, writers who support Hamas, actors who support Hamas - all worthless, wicked trash.
Yesterday, @StephenESachs asked a good question: How do we act within a world where supporting or justifying Oct. 7 is no barrier to polite society? I have some answers: commentary.org/seth-mandel/o…

🚨The IDF has announced the elimination of a Hamas Nukhba terrorist who took part in the kidnapping of Alexander Dancyg and other civilians from Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7, 2023, and later was involved in holding hostages, including Nimrod Cohen, in Gaza.

Missing some context here.
There was, in fact, a political party in Israel that long embraced the possibility of a Palestinian state. That was the Labor Party. But then the second intifada happened, the Palestinian Authority abandoned any pretense of democracy, and Hamas was elected in Gaza, killed off the opposition — and then, well, attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, murdering more than 1,200.
Had the Palestinians, at any step along the way, accepted the Jewish state, and embraced self-rule, they would, no doubt, be in a very different place today. They might even have a state.
But because Palestinians can’t push past their hatred of Israel, because so many of their “supporters” insist on viewing them as toddlers and encourage that hatred (financially and otherwise), they remain confined to a quasi-permanent liminality. Which is awful for Palestinians but very useful for those who wish to use them as a cudgel with which to bludgeon Israel.

Your regular reminder that Alan Lester is not a historian, has no academic training or degrees in history & doesn't work for the history department of his university. He is a geographer & the academic reputation of human geography ingloriously, & deservedly, precedes itself.

Completely pathetic. He throws about insinuations of racism from the pulpit of a church, gets challenged, comes up with a weasel response, then blocks. This says a lot about Alan Lester's character as a historian.

According to @bbclysedoucet the Israeli election impacts food prices in the UK. She doesn't explain how or why, but I guess it's just those pesky Jews controlling the world again.

Douglas Murray asked again that question about the Home Office and the Abedi family. He asks it because the obvious answer is they don’t care. They never did. Our lives are utterly worthless to them. They’ll watch you die and try to sue the men who go after your murderers

Likewise, the @guardian has forever been the go-to place for media industry news.
A story involving the BBC, a huge out-of-court settlement, Israel & antisemitism ticks every box for them.
But it’s nowhere to be seen.
Why the strange silence, @mediaguardian?
Such a shocking and disturbing case.
If any other major public body had paid £400k in an out-of-court settlement, @BBCNews would cover the story. But I can't see it on BBC news website. Why not?
BBC has never been shy of covering BBC scandals. Why isn't it covering this one?

Given the levelof anti Israel venom from your Party including the inappropriate sanctions, is it surprising that they regard your colleagues with great suspicion? Politicians have been entering the region for publicity stunts. Why would they allow this so near an election

A shitty, useless and nasty corporate hack is being paid a sum of money by the taxpayer that for most people would be a life-changing lottery win, to do a job that anyone could F-up as badly as he, which in any case is utterly destructive.
