So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Is that about right?

This would normally seem obvious, but given current trends I see on this app it might as well be said:
Be like Jean-Luc Picard. An articulate, thoughtful, responsible, assertive commander who wakes up every day thinking about the wellbeing of the people on his ship and their mission.
Not Anakin Skywalker. An emo, selfish, violent person who couldn’t for the life of him articulate what he’d do ahead of time or why, and asks for more power. The fact that he’s trending now says something about those trending him.

According to this poll, Americans believe 73 million people in the country are transgender and over 100 million are gay.
A classic chart to counter the wisdom of crowds idea. US Americans are absolutely clueless about how common things are. They think over a quarter of Americans are Native Americans, one in five Americans is transgender, over a quarter of the population are Muslim, one in five households earn over half a million dollars. The right answer to all of these questions is 1%. They build their worldview on totally incorrect assumptions towards reality. Data literacy matters.
Men instinctively know something is wrong with you if you dye your hair blue or purple. Don’t blame us if nobody will date you.
