Sony reports that Ghost Of Yote sold 3.3 million copies, not 5.5 million, as reported by insiders.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This graph shows 3.3m sales for Ghost of Yotei within the first month. The 5.5m number comes from Alinea Analytics, and covers the first year of sales. These 2 pieces of information are not contradictory, as OP suggests.

The saddest part of opening this app is making eye contact with a legendary post for half a second right before the timeline refreshes and buries it forever.
Just gone.

Thank you for helping to demoralize and destroy the most right wing faction in recent US history.
Thank you for bringing in the leftist hordes and for rejuvenating the moderate neocons.
I hope the superchats were worth it

If you make this game gay it will be the end of your studio.
Don’t do it. Resist the urge.

If this current trend continues, I predict every single game will just be made with Debra Wilson.

Every time someone repeats the stupid talking point “transgender issues only affect a tiny minority of people” they sound like an idiot.

You are truly pathetic.
Codes were given to a popular creator. YOUR COMMUNITY began a witch hunt.
YOUR COMMUNITY began brigading
Not to mention, no one can actually supply anything burntpeanut has said or done outside of calling an NPC a fag like 2+ years ago.
Are you going to start canceling current creators with similar discrepancies?
You made a M-rated game where the players are massacred. Now you're fkn groveling to a cult who will never actually accept any amount of an apology because they now hold complete power over you.

Groveling and begging for the approval of mentally ill gender confused freaks after they doxxed and harassed one of your employees
Pathetic capitulation that will earn the respect of no one

I am once again here to explain that a small team of shared Unreal resources and a Matrix demo may be up to $30m of a $500m cost, but in no way actually adds up to that. The bulk of that cost is very clearly game dev, despite people attempting to spin it otherwise.
PlayStation fan Jason Schreier says that Gears of War: E-Day cost $500 million to make. What makes much more sense is that 500 million is what was spent on Studio operations/projects and staff over the last 7 years.
▪️Work on Fable.
▪️Work on Forza.
▪️Work on the Matrix Unreal Tech Demo.
▪️Work on Gears of War Reloaded.
▪️Engine work and support for other teams via ATG.
▪️Salary for the 300 or so devs and, of course, E-Day.

Quick Padme rant now that the prequels are trending again.
One of the things that bothers me most about Padme and also incidentally exemplifies how she really does fit the progressive, longhoused girlfriend meme is her death.
A lot of people simplify her death into "Oh Anakin killed her."
To be clear, he did not kill her.
The movie explicitly states she was physically fine but died of a broken heart.
So this woman has 2 newborn children, but she is so heartbroken over Anakin rejecting the Republic and going to the darkside that she can't even summon the will to live to raise her own babies.
Madness. Insanity. Perfect illustration of the liberal adherence to ideology over family.

This game is so faggot-coated that it SHOULD be a parody because it is that painful, but nope it's a real game that actually existed at one point in time.
Concord took 10 years to make, had a 400m dollar budget, and became a generational failure losing EVERY bit of money spent, when its developers legitimately thought it was going to be the next big "Star Wars". I wish I was kidding, but no they truly are that delusional, and that's why Firewalk got liquidated.
And yet despite all of that, Western developers continue to learn NOTHING from its colossal failure, by continuing to hire former Firewalk developers who worked on Concord, continuing to design hideous fugly characters that nobody wants to play as or look at, continuing to attack & berate their own audience, and even spawning a genre that the Chuds have dubbed Concord-likes.
Man, what a timeline that we're living in lol.

It's hilarious how we've been saying this for years, and all we got in response was "Have you considered this game just isn't for you anymore?" And now, all of a sudden, that the consequences have arrived, everyone wants to have a serious conversation about what went wrong.
WE FUCKING TOLD YOU.
Dragon Age could have had its own Baldur's Gate 3 moment, according to former series lead Mark Darrah.
Darrah believes BioWare could have followed the path from Dragon Age: Origins towards a deeper, more complex RPG similar to Larian's hit. Instead, the studio moved towards simpler and more accessible games to appeal to a wider audience.
"You can imagine a world where BioWare follows a line that leads from Dragon Age: Origins to something that looks a lot like Baldur’s Gate 3,"
He points to Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition as examples of that shift, arguing that trying to appeal to everyone ultimately meant losing some of what made the original RPG special.
