Travis County is 100% going out with a bang as early vote ends today. Every hour except maybe 1 has been a record number of votes for the year.

Thank you to all the UTRGV students who showed up! The energy and passion of this next generation give me so much hope. You are our future, and your voices matter. V’s up ✌️
If that thing dies, I am comfortable changing my default search engine back to Google from Duck Duck Go.

Suddenly imagining a Texas where the only statewide GOP electeds are Ted Cruz, two members of the railroad commission, and the out of cycle judges.
Replying to @birenbomb
Cruz says polls do skew left, but "having run a lot of campaigns...these data are not fake. The Democrats are massively out-turning out the Republicans. We gotta fix that. And I don't want to wake up in a world where Texas is all blue."
"I'm pleading with you, show up and vote"

Ted Cruz on his podcast today: "Texas is excruciatingly close. Understand, we could lose Texas. Let me repeat that: we could lose Texas. And by the way, not just the Senate race. We could lose every single statewide race in Texas. That's how close these numbers are."

Thanks @elonmusk
Very cool sending out a mailer in a blue state about how Collins will continue to destroy the judiciary.
Much appreciated!

Here's a useful "Did Republicans do a Dummy-mander?" cheat sheet for next Tuesday.
If Democrats win any of these seats:
-NC-03
-FL-12
-FL-16
-FL-26
-TN-05 AND TN-09
then you can call it a dummymander.
Otherwise, Republicans will still have done themselves essentially no harm.
I warned that “gerrymandering didn’t work” would be one of the post-election takes if the GOP lost — but they are clearly going to win seats bc they gerrymandered.
No gerrymander and Dems probably net House seats in Texas. Now, they could elect a Senator, get 50% of the statewide vote, take back the RGV… and on net lose one seat, giving Rs a 26-12 advantage in the delegation.
