As our National Chief said, this can’t be a one and done. We must continue building relationships, working together and making Canada stronger for everyone.

Alberta government is directly responsible. The minister at that time, should be investigated

The RCMP investigation is taking longer than expected because the UCP Gov of Alberta is only allowing them 1 question and 1 follow up per interview.

Thanks for this glimpse into the RCMP investigation, it's something of a heartening confidence booster that the investigation is getting things done and our systems may actually work.

Wow!
Government claims it fired the AHS CEO for not executing its "vision". But she says she was pressured to drop her probe into contracting.
Now the RCMP and Ontario prosecutors are looking at the procurement she was investigating. Possible fraud, breach of trust, and money laundering.
Out-of-province prosecutors are brought in when a case is politically sensitive and a conflict of interest may arise.
MHCare got roughly $614M from AHS since 2020.

Just the former Infrastructure minister saying the the details that have prompted a criminal investigation by the RCMP are why he resigned.
Meanwhile, caucus and cabinet remain in lockstep with Smith and they all refuse to call a public inquiry…

Here we go: Fraud, breach of trust and money laundering inside the GOA!
Those are the criminal offences now confirmed to be under investigation by the RCMP in connection with procurement practices at Alberta Health and AHS.
This isn’t speculation. It’s in writing, from a Crown prosecutor, in a letter filed with the Alberta courts.
For nearly two years, the UCP government has tried to distract and avoid accountability but they can’t hide forever.
I raised concerns about these contracting practices, and Albertans deserve answers.
The government can continue to deflect and deny, but it cannot avoid a criminal investigation.
Accountability will come calling.
