This TREASON is beyond words. Not only did Musk shut down Starlink to Ukraine, he enabled Russia's intercept of a Finnish satellite that was helping Ukraine. .
SpaceX Blocked A U.S. And NATO Satellite to Assist a Russian Intercept After Crippling Ukraine's Air Defenses The Math Proves the Reality that Musk doesn't want you to see. On Oct 13-14, SpaceX restricted Starshield/Starlink during a 39-missile Russian attack, cutting Ukrainian drone intercepts by 23% and stranding U.S. personnel in Kyiv. Forty-eight hours later (Oct 15), SpaceX blocked U.S.-licensed NRO, Space Force, and NATO radar satellite ICEYE-X36 in orbit so Russia's COSMOS 2612 weapon could intercept it (99.89%-99.98% posterior) Our Model Demonstrates that the Russian intercept of the US/NATO ICEYE X-36 satellite (contemporaneous with the throttling of Starlink) would not have been possible, and almost certainly not been attempted, without SpaceX resources. At a material opportunity cost, Russia sprinted its COSMOS satellite to intercept ICEYE X36. Based on a previous attempt in June during which X36 maneuvered to evade COSMOS, Russia knew that this would be successful only if X36 could not maneuver. On October 15, SpaceX fixed X36 in place by issuing a collision alert for a sub-kilometer approach with its Starlink 35856 when SpaceX's own data shows that the actual distance was 4.8-5.0x as great. SpaceX issued no warning to COSMOS despite the fact that its sprint was far more threatening than the stable X36 orbit. SpaceX did not maneuver its Starlink 35856 satellite to clear the supposed collision risk. How, absent coordination with SpaceX, could Russia have known that SpaceX would take actions that (a) misrepresented the danger posed by X36, and (b) resulted in the fixing of X36 thereby enabling COSMOS's successful intercept? Thus, SpaceX was directly involved in simultaneously compromising Ukraine’s defensive and offensive capabilities. The conjunction of these two events makes innocent explanations untenable. The Pentagon Capture & Iran Round Two Trap: Pentagon CTO Emil Michael who cashed out $7M–$35M from Musk’s inner-circle SpaceX vehicles (M8/Gigafund 0.1 and M6/Valor M33 II) and KQ Partners / xAI (selling xAIfor $5M–$25M three days before taking over CDAO/OSCand 21 days before SpaceX bought xAI, while keeping M8, M6, M9, M10 & Nomadic open) and Pete Hegseth purged rival Anthropic in two hours, surrendered combat command over US drones used to attack Iran to Starlink’s "Terms of Service," and on October 2 named Musk Co-Director of Project Meridian to design the Pentagon's "Future of Warfighting" just as America enters Iran Round Twowith depleted Patriot/THAAD magazines and Russia feeding U.S. warship/aircraft locations to Tehran. SpaceX’s actions in Ukraine raise serious questions about its alignment with US security interests and its reliability as a cornerstone of US defense. These questions are particularly troubling given the effectively irreplaceable position SpaceX has been granted by the Hegseth/Emil Michael Pentagon. $SPCX $TSLA Our full quantitative analysis below w/ @streetwiseprof

And again: this happened because the Bolsonaro-appointed TSE did not do its job and respond to Lula’s request, despite indicia of voter suppression. It was only after Bolsonaro also requested the extension that a Lula-appointed STF Judge granted it country-wide

In Brazil, if you are in line to vote inside the voting station you have a legal right to vote, meaning polls stay open past 5pm all the time. This is fake news. What happened was those polls were people were no longer voting closed and those where they did followed the extension
The major question in Brazil… At exactly 5pm, a code is supposed to be entered that closes and locks the voting machines. Once a machine is locked, it can’t accept any more votes. It’s irreversible. The Supreme Court extension was relayed a few minutes after polls were supposed to be closed and machines locked. So… which machines were kept open? In what districts were those machines? And why weren’t they locked at 5pm?

Important lesson for Europe in the Brasil Elections: need to harden against US' blatant meddling via social media algorithms in our elections
Lula victory speech: "We had to overcome foreign interference through digital platforms, which we will have to regulate. We cannot have monstrously huge corporations earning millions & billions, paying no taxes to this country & trying to steer this country's election results."

I remember the panic about deforestation when Lula won four years ago. Also Deutsche Bank saying it was bad for Brazil's stock market. Both turned out to be blatantly wrong. As if there were not enough prevous terms of Lula to learn from :D
Brazil's Amazon deforestation, official INPE data: >Jair Bolsonaro, 2019–22: 45,612 km² >Lula, 2023–26: 24,648 km² 46% less. And 2026 was the lowest since records began in 1988 Stopping deforestation is one of the most important climate fights on Earth Elections matter

AI accelerates all timelines, including demographic clash. Directly through youth unemployment. Indirectly: Moar GPUs - > scarcity of money - > higher interest rates for debt - > pain for the gerontocracies financing increasing pension costs with debt -> 🇫🇷 protest Next: 🇯🇵

3% of “critical” software security bugs, in all of recorded history, have been found in the last month. This is on pace to find another ~100,000 bugs this year alone, adding ~26% more vulnerabilities to the all time total Do you realize how fucking insane that is?

That cyberattack on the Netherlands’ largest retailer (Albert Heijn) means practically no fresh produce (fruits or vegetables) in their stores. Which is the first area you see when you walk in. Not good enough IT security having real-world consequences unfortunately

No, a Yandex cloud malfunction did not take down disinformation/troll bots. It's a dangerous misconception. This is not how it works, not even technically. After Ukrainian drones hit Yandex data centers, a viral chart showed Russian "bot traffic" collapsing. But those bots are mostly Yandex's own search crawlers, not the info-ops social media accounts. Troll farms hide behind proxies, hijacked devices and Western clouds. They're still operating. Hired influencers are also still around. The "bots went silent" story is misinformation. Believing it is plainly dangerous. It tells people the threat is gone while influence operations keep going. Ahead of elections that complacency is what they may count on.

China is absolutely insane. As if a pork glut weren’t enough, now it has an electricity glut too… Just think about how insane this sentence sounds: “Data centers are the solution to electricity oversupply.”
This is the first in a three-part series examining China’s breakneck build-out of AI infrastructure as it seeks to become the pre-eminent tech superpower. With @EleanorOlcott and @WillLangley96 from the hinterlands of Ulanqab to Shaoguan Limited free link as.ft.com/r/dd3eceea-e2f6-44…

China is not just exporting more of everything. China’s share of global exports has been declining in categories such as finished clothing, shoes, and bags.
There is talk of a "China Squeeze" i.e. the argument that China, unlike others before, does not "shed" lower value products while moving up the value chain. This seems altogether incorrect. The chart below shows that there are plenty of less complex goods in which China's

In modernen Kehrichtverbrennungsanlagen (KVAs) längst Geschichte! 🛠️♻️

Important to remember: the Moroccan border towns next to Ceuta and Melilla have been hit hard economically both due to Spanish and Moroccan border policies. Youth unemployment is at 40%, higher than the Moroccan average. Hence so many people could storm the border as the area is already full of unemployed youths 🇪🇸What did Spain do? Previously, people living in Beni Ensar/Nador (Melilla) and Fnideq/Mdiq (Ceuta) were allowed to work VISA free in the Spanish enclaves. Hence, there are passport controls between Melilla/Ceuta and the rest of Spain. Due to stricter Schengen VISA requirements in 2022, this was no longer possible -> massive spike in unemployment and an end to influx of money 🇲🇦What did Morocco do? Another source of income was the ban on “trobando”. Previously local businesses made money by selling goods they bought in Spain through informal ways. Morocco put an end to this in order to protect domestic manufacturers -> another source of income disappeared As you can see, border policies can have great consequences on people’s lives. Directly and indirectly. But most on EU political Twitter are totally clueless Policies meant at curbing migration have led to growing push factors that facilitate emigration
