💔 Behind every death sentence is a victim. A family. A life stolen. A future that will never be. Please read this heartbreaking article about families who have endured unimaginable loss, decades of appeals, and now the prospect of having the sentences of their loved ones’ killers overturned by Governor Gavin Newsom. These families deserve compassion, dignity, respect and justice. Aren’t those California values, too? California juries heard the evidence. Judges imposed the sentences. And California voters repeatedly rejected efforts to abolish the death penalty. Now, one man seeks to override those decisions. At the Criminal Justice Legal Foundation, @CJLF_Sacramento we will pursue every legal avenue available to challenge this decision and defend the rights of crime victims and their families. Justice is not simply about the rights of those who commit horrific crimes. It is also about the innocent lives taken, the families left behind, and the promises our justice system made to them. California values should include accountability, the rule of law, respect for voters, and justice for victims. To every family facing this painful uncertainty: We see you. We hear you. And we will fight for you. ❤️ calmatters.org/justice/2026/…

86 FELONY CONVICTIONS. THREE WOMEN DRUGGED AND RAPED. AND NOW HE’S FREE. Andrew Luster, the Max Factor heir who drugged and raped unconscious women and videotaped his crimes, was originally sentenced to 124 years in prison. His sentence was later reduced to 50 years. Now he’s walking free after serving less than half of that sentence. How did this happen? Because California classified his crimes as “nonviolent” felonies, allowing him to benefit from expanded prison credits under Proposition 57. Luster was released based on California’s sentence-credit laws. After years of failed legislative efforts, California finally changed the law in 2024 to recognize certain drug-facilitated rapes as violent felonies. But the law came too late for Luster’s victims. It did nothing to change his convictions or prevent his release. Think about that. A serial rapist convicted of 86 felonies is free, despite a 50-year sentence and repeated opposition to his release. Tell his victims that justice was served. California’s laws should recognize the devastating violence inflicted on sexual assault victims—not create opportunities for their attackers to leave prison years before their court-imposed sentences expire. ktla.com/news/california/out…

“I WILL BREAK OUT SOON AND I WILL KILL MORE.” Those were the chilling words of convicted cop killer Luis Bracamontes during his murder trial. Now meet his victims. 💙 Detective Mike Davis Jr. was a Placer County Sheriff’s detective, a husband, and a father of four. His own father had also been killed in the line of duty. 💙 Deputy Danny Oliver was a Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputy, a husband, and a father of two daughters. On October 24, 2014, these two men put on their badges and went to work protecting their communities. Neither made it home. Bracamontes murdered them both. And when he stood trial, he showed no remorse. Instead, he openly threatened to escape prison and kill again. A jury sentenced him to death. NOW GOVERNOR GAVIN NEWSOM WANTS TO COMMUTE HIS DEATH SENTENCE TO LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE. But California keeps changing its laws and rules, giving convicted murderers new opportunities to seek release. LWOP TODAY DOESN’T GUARANTEE LWOP ANYMORE. Bracamontes told us exactly what he intends to do if he ever gets out. THIS IS WHO GOVERNOR NEWSOM THINKS DESERVES MERCY. What about mercy for Mike and Danny’s families?

God forbid that the next generation industry “flourishes.” Socialism is the party of ignorance.
Musk-run companies like SpaceX and Tesla have flourished in Texas thanks to white-glove treatment from elected officials. But that is about to change, Texas Democrats say. on.wsj.com/48FLwxY

The “uni-party” in DC is really only a uni-party on two issues: 1. War everywhere all the time. 2. Unending importation of foreigners. TRILLIONS of dollars are reliant on those two things never changing. Understand that and you’ll understand a lot of what you see.

California’s electricity is 32.6¢/kWh. Only Hawaii is worse. Nobody could have predicted that green mandates, renewable portfolio standards, wildfire liability schemes, regulatory capture over reliable affordable power, and endless climate justice lectures would lead to this. Meanwhile, Nevada next door is 13.4¢. Same grid region and climate challenges, but completely different policy choices.

This isn't about "racial bias." Who gives a shit if the man who tortured an 8-year-old boy, shot him with a BB gun, and forced him to eat cat feces and vomit before beating him to death, is white, brown, or black? I want him dead. California voters do, too.
I commend Governor @GavinNewsom for taking this historic step. California will no longer be complicit in a racially biased system that delivers neither justice nor safety.

The Right needs to understand where things currently stand. You took a 100-year loss at the worst time. Grifters and foreign agents aren't going away on their own. If you fail to exile, the only question is whether there is enough time to rebuild after they destroy everything.

BREAKING: A missing memory card discovered in southwest Georgia could cost Democrats a seat in the state House and narrow their newly won majority before they even take power. Once the votes were uploaded, Republican state Rep. Gerald Greene went from trailing Democrat Harry James by 58 votes to leading by 262. bit.ly/4kBT1NF

There are over 200 child victims who were brutally murdered by the over 500 criminals on death row in California. Newsom announced his decision to commute all the murderers sentences by letter and social media. Not one parent or family member was notified of his decision. Most found out from social media, the news or their prosecutor calling them. No matter how you feel about capital punishment, that doesn’t “honor” anyone. Its cruel. It’s not the American way. It lacks decency. And it’s cowardly, not courageous. When it comes to supporting victims and their families and prioritizing public safety and justice, there is such a void of leadership in my state. Making decisions, taking ownership of those decisions and having the decency to notify the parent of a murdered child about their child’s case is the least an elected “leader” can do.

Brenda Sierra was my friend. She was only 15 years old when she was kidnapped on her way to school, raped and brutally murdered. Now there’s a possibility that one of the people responsible for her murder could be among those receiving clemency from Gavin Newsom. Absolutely disgusting. Brenda was a child. She had her entire life ahead of her, and these monsters took that from her. Brenda didn’t get a second chance. Her family has had to live with what happened to her for 24 years. I have absolutely no sympathy for people who commit such evil acts. Where is the justice for Brenda? Where is the compassion for the victims and their families? Her life mattered. She deserves to be remembered, and those responsible deserve to be held accountable. Read Brenda’s story: latimes.com/local/lanow/la-m…

“San Francisco police officers and the San Francisco Police Officers Association are horrified by Governor Newsom’s move to provide blanket commutations for more than 500 death row inmates, including people convicted of murdering children, killing police officers, committing mass murder and carrying out hate-motivated killings. “Behind every one of these cases are victims whose lives were stolen and families whose suffering never ends. Those families deserve justice and a governor who respects the gravity of their loss. California voters upheld the death penalty, and juries imposed these sentences after hearing the evidence of horrific crimes. “These individuals would remain imprisoned for life without parole, but that does not erase the profound consequences of this decision. Governor Newsom is setting aside the punishment imposed on criminals for some of the worst crimes imaginable. The police officers and SFPOA stand with the victims’ families, including the families of fallen officers, who have every right to be outraged and betrayed by Governor Newsom.” — Louis Wong, President, San Francisco Police Officers Association

Gabriel Fernandez was only 8 years old when he was beaten & starved. Polly Klaas was only 12. @GavinNewsom didn't bother to consider what their families wanted—he arbitrarily & capriciously just commuted every death row sentence. I don't support the death penalty, personally. But I support the people of California who have repeatedly voiced their support and the rule of law in determining justice for all. Join me in signing this petition. Enough is enough! change.org/StopTheNewsomPard…
