I talked to a company last week that has 30 years of institutional knowledge living on post-it notes and in people's heads.
They're spending months manually interviewing employees to capture it all. Recording conversations, transcribing, organizing.
One person leaves and a piece of the business walks out the door with them.
This is the problem nobody's solving with AI yet.
Not chatbots. Not automation. Not replacing anyone.
Just making sure that when your best operator retires, their 30 years of knowledge doesn't retire with them.
Every company has this problem. Almost none of them are doing anything about it.

Anthropic just filed to go public.
I read the S-1. Some of this is genuinely insane... ONE CONTROLS THE ENTIRE COMPANY 😂
> $16.3 billion in revenue in the first six months of 2026. Up roughly 14x from last year.
> $80.7 billion net loss. Although $72.4 billion of that is noncash accounting adjustments. Quite the footnote.
> 900% net revenue retention. Yes, nine hundred percent.
> A SINGLE share of stock gives Anthropic's seven founders 50.1% of the shareholder voting power.
> Another single share lets an independent AI safety trust elect a majority of the board.
> Public investors get one vote per share. Which sounds nice until you read the previous two bullets.
> The founders pledged 80% of their equity to philanthropy. The S-1 clarifies those pledges are voluntary, revocable and legally nonbinding.
> And then there's the risk factor warning that its own technology could potentially cause catastrophic or EXISTENTIAL harm to humanity.
I've read a lot of securities filings. The possibility that your product might end civilization is not typically something you see in the risk factors.
Anyway, ticker is ANT...

My doctor compared me to Jalen Hurts today. 😂 Potential blood clots. Jalen's benched against Dallas. I'm landing in Dallas in time for Eagles-Cowboys on MNF.
Anyone at McGuireWoods ISC want to watch? Hit me up.

Overheard today at a billion dollar middle market company. MM can always kick the can down the road longer than LMM.

This is AMAZING NEWS!!
The Department of Education will start tying federal student loan eligibility to graduate earning outcomes.
Under the rule:
> undergrad programs must out-earn high school graduates and
> graduate programs must out-earn undergraduate programs
This is going dismantle many BS predatory college programs.
A would be win for the future of American students!

One of the best lessons my dad taught me when I owned my dumpster company:
Learn how to operate the trucks
Not because I needed to drive every day
Because I never wanted one employee to be able to hold the business hostage
As an owner you don’t need to do every job
But knowing HOW the important jobs get done gives you leverage
