Of the things I respect about the #FabLearn community's work is how the social-emotional outcomes we desire for children are inherent in the meaningful experiences constructed for children. SEL isn't the goal of learning, though often is a powerful peripheral outcome. #FLC2023

Marvelous lunch time NYC excursion led by @KarenBlumberg at #FabLearn #FLC2023 Cathedral drop-in. #Makerspace tour AND provided emergency clean-up assistance as space was flooded due to leaking pipe!!! Wet vac & moving materials. Ended w/ Banh Mi sandwich & Central Park walk.
