BREAKING: Federal court holds that punishing a Jew’s pro-Israel expression while tolerating another player’s anti-Israel expression plausibly states a claim of religious, national-origin and racial discrimination.
TLDR:
Pokémon used Motion to Dismiss.
It wasn’t very effective.
A federal court in California just ruled favorably for our client @Avaddov in our antisemitism suit against Pokemon, permitting the case to advance for all nine causes of action. You can read the ruling here:

We got an early taste of New York Magazine's new direction in the days after 10/7.
In September 2023, we got a call: my husband @BenZevG would be featured in @NYMag's list of the most powerful New Yorkers. A (lovely) reporter interviewed multiple people about our synagogue. Mark Peterson came to take pictures of services right after Yom Kippur. The piece was filed.
Then came 10/7. That Friday, we got another call. He'd been cut. "Editors got spooked," we were told.
This was a little story about a shul drawing young Jews back to faith. It had nothing to do with the Middle East. Overnight, New York Jews like us -- Orthodox, deeply connected to our ancestral homeland -- had become untouchable. It was chilling. I sensed, in that moment, that this would be the beginning of Jews being pushed out of cultural institutions, and eventually, erased.
So if you ever wondered why that list had 49 names instead of 50, now you know. They cut the rabbi.

Replying to @DebbiAlmontaser
With all due respect Debbie, according to the school leadership, the men kept peeking into the girls’ yard and the school had to build a fence and put up cameras. This has nothing to do with what their religion is, it’s inappropriate for grown men to round up against the wall of an all girls school. Whether or not this is deliberate, the perception of this is especially and understandably alarming amidst the concerns of the jewish community. No one is stopping them from performing their religious obligations, in fact I fully support that, but it doesn’t have to be against the wall of an all girls school.

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

If you need to invent a new definition of genocide to accuse Jews of doing it, you are a pathological antisemite. @amnesty

what a brave woman
BREAKING: The WSJ reports that the UN’s Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide has been dismissed after refusing to say that the campaign in Gaza fits the definition of a genocide based on the evidence.
Alice Nderitu, an accomplished mediator specializing in genocide prevention, led an office that issued a guidance paper on the proper use of the term “genocide.” The paper emphasized that UN officials should “adhere to the correct usage” of the term due to its political and legal sensitivities and its frequent misuse to describe large-scale crimes against specific populations.
Nderitu, who has served at the UN since 2020, was dismissed for asserting that Israel’s war with Hamas does not constitute genocide. She explained that while the conflict has caused significant loss of life, Israel’s actions aim to dismantle a terrorist regime, not to exterminate an ethnic group. She also noted that Israel has made efforts to minimize civilian casualties, even as Hamas uses civilians as human shields to exploit their deaths for propaganda.
Her position clashes with UN Secretary-General António Guterres’s manufactured narrative.
The UN is not neutral or impartial when it comes to Israel— you can’t deny it now.
